What a true gem I discovered on the go! The room was practical, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything you could need. The highlight, however, was the location – these charming little cottages are absolutely perfect for relaxation. I really enjoyed my morning coffee in the peaceful setting, accompanied by the sweet chirping of birds. The host was exceptionally kind, helpful, and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure a wonderful stay. The location of the cottages and the surrounding area are incredible. The place the owners have created for their guests is more than just a cottage. It's a paradise for children, with slopes with slides, toy swings, dogs, roaming goats, and horses. In the evening, we were treated to plenty of home-cooked food, home-made products, smoked meats, bread, salads, beer and rakija :) and goat's milk, if you like it :) We definitely felt like guests, not customers; we'd never been welcomed like this by a stranger before. We'll remember it forever!

From a nature perspective, absolutely stunning.

From a nature perspective, absolutely stunning. This area contains the southern part of the Transfagarasan mountain pass and there is a lot to see and do here. The scenery is spectacular - it also takes a long time to drive, so make sure that you have enough time. Try and avoid night time driving for animals (bears and dogs), but also for the fact that the road is extremely winding and tiring to drive. You will certainly see bears - the southern part of the road (Highway #7C) is a bear conservation area along Lake Vidraru.

Came with friends for a couple of days. We got to the hotel at night! We were met personally by the owner, he helped to park our cars. Then they prepared sandwiches for us, although the kitchen was no longer working! Clean room, delicious food, friendly staff! It felt like we were at home! Definitely recommend to everyone who visits Transfagarashan!

The service was great. Very welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels but the staff were more helpful and welcoming than anywhere previously. We arrived late and they still cooked us dinner and service with a smile.
