Amazing place to stay! Loved all the details. Only 1 downside was the train line rattling the whole house but doesn't at all detract from the awesome time we had 😁 Sauna&Spa&Firepit 😍

Great value, decent restaurant on site, easy to book a shuttle for the Tongariro crossing, and friendly helpful staff. Small rooms but cosy and comfortable bed. Plenty of car parks.

We were told on arrival that they were fully booked and the manager didn’t know how we were allowed to book the stay through Booking.com, we are so glad and grateful that the manager was able to shuffle some other guests around so we could have a room

Staff were great, went over and above our expectations. Secured us a shuttle for the Tongariro crossing, took into account dietary restrictions and prepared us breakfast and lunch for our early morning 5:30am departure. Location great for the crossing. And bed sheets were super warm and toasty.

Wow...what a place! Omaka Lodge is the best BnB's we have ever stayed in.....beautiful property, amazing garden, attention to detail and the small touches really made a difference. Beautiful cottage, situated in a stunning garden. The cottage has a separate entrance, kitchen, bathroom and open plan bedroom/lounge and dining area, as well as veranda seating and a patio area. The spa pool was enjoyable to relax in at the end of a busy day. Breakfast is cooked to order and the fridge is well stocked with nibbles and drinks. This was a relaxing one night stop on my journey, and would make for a beautiful romantic getaway. The cottage is a short drive into town and is handy to the forgotten world highway (SH43) and the attractions on that route.
