Americans & aussies - not all, but enough .. how do you manage to even wipe your own ar*es Other than that - utterly utterly great place indeed .... Unfortunately, it was very rainy so we could not take part in any activities. Although it was noted online that boat tours were available this was not the case -apparently it had been a failed enterprise. The train trip into Andalsnes was spectacular and worth the visit.

The beautiful fjord town, with the turquoise blue Rauma River winding through on one side and the towering peaks on the other. It is very well connected by train to Oslo and by bus to Trollstigen and Molde airport. It is suitable as a campsite for vacations and as a hub for trips to other places.

Trollstigen Resort is located in a pristine, jagged mountain valley. Easy self check-in process. Our bouglow was equipped with everything and couldn't have asked for a better room. You can park the car right next to your room and that is so convenient. There are ample EV chargers in the property that is very helpful. We stayed here for 3 nights and loved evey bit of it. Not to mention the resort is located close to lot of hiking trials. Don't think twice and book Trollstigen Resort if you are planning to visit Andalsnes.

Great location in Åndalsnes with all necessary facilities needed and in great condition. The host was very friendly and helpful. The shared kitchen is small but has everything you require to make decent meals. The shared fridge is divided into shelves for each apartment so you know what belongs you. The room was nice and clean as well as the bathroom.

Not traditional hotel, no facilities apart from a small shared kitchen. Check in was via phone call with key lock box outside room. It was clean and modern, but it looks like it might be a converted school being renovated. Our room light switch was outside our room!

The location and wonderful historical photos of the hotel and the area through the years. The restaurant is luxuriously decorated and has low noise levels. There are 2 comfortable lounges. Some of the rooms have great views of the fjord.
