This hotel was a lovely surprise, beautiful, incredible staff, the best food! Especially the breakfast. It's 30 min away from Kandy but the peace, the nature, it's very much appreciated. And it's easy to request a tuk tuk to take you to the city.

The staff made my boyfriend’s birthday so special. We arrived by tuk tuk (after a few breakdowns) and they even fixed it for us. Turn down service was luxury and the massage was the best I’ve ever had. Once in a lifetime bliss for us and worth event penny. We also loved our waiter who loved rugby and cricket just like us, and took the time to really chat to us.

⭐ (10/10) Fetnale Retreat was simply unforgettable. Set in the mountains and jungle, it had the most breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The service was the best we have ever experienced in any hotel, the food was exceptional, and the rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and perfectly maintained. Our guided walk to the waterfall was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Every detail was flawless—this is why it’s a perfect 10 from us.

The room was neat and bathroom clean enough. The caretaker Pereira was extremely helpful. There is no breakfast or food service, plates and cutlery are available. The family room was spacious, a double bed in 1 room and a single bed in the other smaller portion. Quiet and good for sleep.

The location is simply enchanting: a peaceful haven surrounded by lush greenery, breathtaking views, and a profound sense of serenity. Every detail, from the common areas to the rooms, is designed with care and respect for the environment, creating perfect harmony with the surrounding landscape. Really nice and modern room / bathroom. Comfortable bed and all the stuff provided that you need for your daily cleaning / bathroom. Abele equipped kitchen to use. Providing of free drinking water, tea and coffee. The family and staff there is very nice and helpful. I could also use the washing machine for free. Laundry that I hanged in the garden was with the sun was dry after a few minutes :)

Amazing little paradise. Very nice and helpful staff and the best place to have a few relaxing days. You habe to be mindful of the fact that it is quite a way to Kandy city center, but we loved the fact that after a day in and around the hectic city we could return to a refreshing and peaceful retreat.

We had an unforgettable experience at Blue Waters Edge Kandy. The view of the river was absolutely breathtaking, and the whole place felt peaceful and relaxing. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable with luxury touches—plus the AC worked perfectly, which was a big plus. The food was so delicious, and the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended

The location is simply amazing with a stunning view on a lake and mountains. Small team extremely dedicated to make your stay a pleasant one. Kudos to Thiloka for her patience and always smiling. Great breakfast and food, the best we had in Sri Lanka. Definitely a place we will remember.
