We stayed 2 nights in 2 double villas. We had a family gathering in their restaurant and we had a few personal requests for meal arrangements, staff gave us their full support and we are thankful to the staff. Pool was nice and well maintained. Night time atmosphere was amazing in the property. Only 10 minutes walk to the Kala wewa dam and 10 minutes drive to the famous Aukana statue. Food was also delicious.

Very good location with easy access to all the amenities, breakfast was very nice and delicious we really enjoyed it, it is a family run business, all were very kind and very supportive, service is value for money paid, I would like to recommend this property without any hesitation, we had very nice stay in Hotel Varsha.

A clean modern hotel with a huge room, quality fixtures and fittings, fully equipped with balcony, comfortable bed and an actual bath! The breakfast was massive, with a choice of either Sri Lankan or eggs, sausage and pancakes, along with fruit and toast. The hotel has a proper restaurant (unlike others that claim to) and we ate here one night. The food was delicious and plentiful, beer is available. The family are very happy and helpful, arranging tuk tuks and giving advice. Dambulla is a town without much to attract tourists, except the impressive cave temples and the international cricket stadium. The hotel is in perfect location for both by tuk tuk. Our visit coincided with an international match and the hotel is actually within walking distance of the stadium, about half an hour flat walk.

The location is safe, and very calm. This is a little piece of paradise in the middle of Dambulla, very well located and near to the Golden temple. The owner is soooo nice, his family is lovely, her wife is a real chef: we had breakfasts and dinner and everything was delicious. Rooms are spacious, with balcony and A/C. Nice rooftop also. This place was such a pleasant surprise! They opened recently, so everything is brand new and perfect, but what really stands out is how much the owners clearly love what they do. You can immediately feel it in the cleanliness, the kindness, and even the care they put into the decorations. The bathrooms are spacious and spotless, the beds are very comfortable, and everything feels welcoming. Truly recommended!

The family running the small homestay is absolutely hartwarming! Rarely have I felt so incredibly welcome in a place. They have their own tuktuk, so transport to all the sights is never a problem. Their food is fantastic, so you'd better have dinner there too!
