Chef or chefs at hotel are excellent and are paying attention to detail. Fresh juices at breakfast, fruit etc. Dinners were also very good and well presented. Rooms are super clean. And modern. Staff are efficient and very helpful.

I booked this hotel for a one-night stay after our flight was canceled and our journey home was delayed until the next day. I chose the hotel because of its location in a safe area with good shopping options. We had a spacious suite with a kitchen, and it was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The included breakfast was really good. We also had lunch at the hotel restaurant, which was good and reasonably priced. My kids had a quick swim in the pool, even though the weather wasn’t great, but it was a nice pool. The staff were very helpful, especially when it came to making sure we could get safely to the airport, as the city was shut down due to protests. I can definitely recommend this place.

One of the best places I have ever stayed. The house and garden are very clean, the food and wine are delicious. The staff are very nice and always smiling, they will help you with anything. You can swim in the pool, sunbathe in the garden. There is a high level of security in the accommodation and in the area, even if you are travelling alone. The house is very cosy and homely. During our stay, both Dan and the hotel staff made us feel at home and became like a family with the guests staying with us at the same time. You can observe the refined taste of its owner, Dan, in every corner of Drexel House, which fills the definition of a boutique hotel. You can spend the whole day reading a book, chatting with your loved ones, sipping your tea/coffee and eating your meal in its authentic and peaceful garden. The best thing is that you can have your breakfast at any time you want, you can't have such luxury anywhere! We are grateful to Dan, the owner of the hotel,and dear Bibiana who personally took care of my mother and niece who was sick when we arrived at the hotel, and did their best so that they can recover quickly. Happily provided whatever we needed! We look forward to visiting them again in the shortest possible time! And I believe that even after years, Drexel will maintain its current quality and offer the highest quality service to its guests. Boutique Hotel at its best!

Nairobi is such a mixture of people and things to do.

Nairobi is such a mixture of people and things to do. We visited Karen Blixin museum and the slums as well as the giraffe manor and elephant sanctuary. The National Park in the middle of the city is stunning. Traffic however is a nightmare and the roads often in a state of disrepair making moving around a challenge.

I had a great time in Nairobi. Love the people.

I had a great time in Nairobi. Love the people. They are so welcoming and accommodating. Loved the food . My only challenge was the language and the traffic jam at certain hours and crossing the roads in some areas. The driving is "fast and furious". Its easy to get around Nairobi with an Uber and a couple of touristic sites to visit like the Nairobi National Park, which is good for nature lovers. The masai market for souvenirs and handicrafts.

It was a transit point and I could have spent an additional night (on my return from Masai Mara) to explore the Nairobi National Park which was exceptionally good for bird watching indeed. I really regret not doing that, but hopefully next time.

Hotel's location was perfect for my needs.

Hotel's location was perfect for my needs. The staff are very warm and friendly, nothing is too much for them. They will go the extra mile without question. The food in the restaurant is excellent. The room was very comfortable, spacious and very clean. The hotel offer an airport shuttle, which I make use of. To me, this is a home away from home. A big thank you to the entire management and staff at Hyatt Place.

Nairobi was a wonderful experience — vibrant city life mixed with warm hospitality. The traffic can test your patience, but the people, food, and energy more than make up for it. Every visit leaves me wanting to return.

Excellent location right in the Nairobi CBD. Nice, clean rooms, great breakfast with a view of the Nairobi skyline from the 10th floor of the hotel. Super helpful front desk staff as well as surrounded by all kinds of shops from a supermarket right next door (NaiVas /open until 21h30), an array of restaurants, BATA shoes shop (safari boots) etc. Also a plus is a nearby boarding point for Nairobi-Arusha shuttles at the nearby Monrovia Streets for tjose traveling to Tanzania overland.

I rarely write reviews as I spend a lot of time in business hotels BUT Best Western Westlands stands out from every other business hotel I stay in for one reason - the most accommodating and helpful staff ever! Nothing is ever too much trouble and each and every staff member goes out of their way to make sure that your stay is perfect. For me there is no other option in Nairobi, this is the best hotel by far for business or leisure travel and value for money. Thank You

The apartment is small, but has everything you could think of. Even a microwave and washing machine. It's in a fairly safe area. The security personnel are very friendly. There is a nice rooftop restaurant on the 18th floor. Location is good in the Westlands. The quality of living is well above par for a city like Nairobi. I'd probably consider staying here again should I pass by.
