Lovely location in the middle of nowhere, where you can just hear birds and insects; away from it all. Good breakfast, most of the items were homemade using the fruit and veg they grow themselves. Lovely infinity pool.

Our room was superb with all the grandeur appropriate to a castle. The room was large and gracious. The spa bath was an unexpected bonus that added to the charm of our stay. The reception & dining area of the Castella di Altomonte is exquisite. These beautifully restored rooms exude style & quality. This was matched perfectly by the food. We really enjoyed talking to our host & this added to our thoroughly enjoyable stay.

This property was so charming and incredibly clean. We were in contact with Marlena prior to our trip with a few questions and she was so helpful upon arriving to the hotel she waited for us to arrive as our flight was late. It was very clean, only stayed for a night with my partner but it was worth it, good location, close to the station, the guest was very kind and helpful, I could call him at anytime and he would help me…always attentive on his phone and just made us feel very comfortable
