The hostess was amazing! The house was wonderful, fully equipped and with an amazing hottub in the yard! I loved the modern rustic decoration and the relaxed vibe it offered.It was by far the best accommodation we've had in Iceland! I would love love to go back.

When you get to the Hafdals Hotel you will be impressed by the view and then you’ll realise that you get to enjoy this view every single second during your stay (well not every second, the bathroom has no view towards Akureyri but this is no fault of the hotel). Speaking of the room it is quite spacious and the shower has some nice water pressure. The complete hotel facility was clean and well managed! The breakfast buffet is adequate, there is a good amount of choice and the food and drink is of high quality. The bed is comfortable and the provided pillow lead to some restfull sleep.
