Everything at Hotel Sunset Orchha is just absolutely beautiful. Right from the adopted cat you’ll meet at the reception to the views from the rooftop. But the thing that really stands out at this hostel is the people managing the property. Aniket, Mahipal, Mayank and Rinku really make you feel like home. The hotel is located at close proximity to most of the tourist destinations in Orchha. So you can explore in the day and chill with everyone at the rooftop later in the night. I went to Orchha for 3 days but stayed there for 9 days just because I wasn’t willing to leave the the hostel. So if you are in Orchha, do not look anywhere else. This is the place folks. You won’t regret it trust me :)

This property has a very nice restaurant with a superbly clean kitchen. Great hygiene standards. The food is excellent quality and very reasonably priced. The rooms are spacious with big beds and nice linen. The staff were very attentive. When we checked out we asked for extra time - 6 more hours - and this was given us for no extra charge. We were also given a free coffee each. Taxi was booked for us for later. This saved us a lot of money as, being tourists, we are often overcharged for taxis. The hotel was given a much cheaper rate.

I am more then happy to share my experience, hotel is completely new with comfortable beds, and if you are traveling solo or with family and don’t want to stay far from the center, restaurants and Ram Raja temple, which is the main temple in Orchha therefore Shri Serju Palace is a better option with good value for money and specially the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Fully recommended 🙏🏽🕉️

Location is fantastic, close to everything,but at the same time so beautifully quiet. Rooms are large and very comfortable.This family run hotel try so hard in every way to please you. Aniket the owners son is really switched on. He has a pre-prepared phone link..he can send to your mobile..to give you personal directions and info on all the sights in town. UNIQUE.!! It is a perfect location and extremely confortable, all the little attentions are there. Very professionnal and authentic. Everything is done with a lot of taste.
