The staff and especially the owner were very kind and polite. The property was in a quiet and peaceful area. The room was really beautiful, modern, clean and the bed was comfortable. Finally, The hotel is neat, clean, quiet and has a nice pool and restaurant. Overall a good choice and I totally recommend it.

Breakfast and dinner were included and they were buffett style with so many selections, everything was great. The beach was one of the best in the area, I went in almost everyday and in the pool also. There is a great view of the sea from all seating areas outside and beach walks along the shore are great. There is a market close by and the bus to take you to near towns is also close by. It is a wonderful quiet area yet the town of Rethymno is a short bus ride away. My room was spacious as was the balcony. It was a fabulous relaxing place and all the staff were very nice and helpful.

Amazing attention to detail in all aspects. Our room overlooked the ocean and had a private balcony. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Besides the fresh fruit and drinks we were greeted with when we arrived, we found a plate of fresh melon slices, a platter of pastries and a bottle of wine in our room, a very nice touch. We loved relaxing on the beach snd swimming in the crystal clear ocean. We also appreciated that saving beach or pool chairs with towels was not allowed and was enforced.

This is THE BEST location in Crete to see the island. We had amazing Bakery breakfasts nearby and A fantastic CLEAN Suite and pool. The Beach was quite calm but do bring water shoes as we did. The vibe is Perfect for a young family like ours. Mr George and his staff are just so very warm and welcoming- it felt like our own place on the beach.

I had a very pleasant stay at Nalu Resort and Spa. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, ensuring everything was smooth and comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxing and beautifully designed, making it a perfect place to unwind. The facilities are well-maintained. The food was delicious and fresh. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and I would happily return.

Gorgeous property, romantic and also family friendly. We arrived late and they prepared the list wonderful plates and bottle of wine waiting for us. The grounds have an abundance of fruit trees. The breakfast is the best hotel breakfast I’ve had. We also enjoyed the taverna in a nearby village. The staff had wonderful recommendations for beaches, restaurants, etc. Really special place.

Amazing stay, really enjoyed it. Food was tasty, lots of options available, different restaurants. Room very comfortable, AC worked spotless. Checkin/checkout experience very good. They let yu stay in the hotel after checkout and eat even if your flight is at night. Pool chairs very comfortable. Always chairs available at the beach or pools, they come and free the chairs if there are towels just sitting them for hours so people don't keep them occupied all day while they are taking a nap. Lots of things to do: aqua park, disco, inflatable tobogan, volleyball/soccer courts, water sports (non motorized free, motorized paid). Breathtaking views from lots of places inside the hotel. If you stay for 7 nights you can book 1 a la carte restaurant for free. Some a la carte restaurants are actually buffets. Across the hotel you can book activities if you want to travel outside the hotel + massages that are cheaper than at the spa + a shop that is cheaper than the hotel one.

Very near the sea. 2 very good supermarkets, bakery and chemist. Good restaurants. Not hectic busy so excellent for relaxing break.Local villages of Asteri and Chamalevri within walking distance. As is Pagkalochori which has Asani monastery. Wonderful authentic Cretan experience.

People say not much there, but we felt it had everything...

People say not much there, but we felt it had everything there. Good supermarket, beach good as not spoiled by sun beds all over so you can actually see the beach. Several great bakeries and some good restaurants to choose from. Bus stop into city if needed.

Sfakaki is a nice area, a few tavernas with lovely food and great staff. Beach is about a 15 min walk. Supermarkets and coffee shop a short distance away. Regular bus into Rethymno. Options for day trips available.

Nikos and Tonya are lovely hosts, very communicative and welcoming. We stayed in an apartment no.102. Big apartment with a separate bedroom and a huge balcony with a view towards the sea and the hills. The shower is very good, hot and powerful. The hotel has a nice swimming pool. Located 10kms from Rethymnon in an area with many new developments.

Room was large, light and immaculately clean. Nice pool area. The family that run the hotel were incredible and couldn’t do enough for you. They really made the holiday for us. The hotel is quiet and relaxing.
