It’s a new building very quiet over looking the island. Great wifi Park directly outside Location was great for us only ½ an hour to Kapsali. From the Ferry 8 minutes Agia Pelagia 16 minutes. Didn’t have a washing machine at the time , but Eva took it and done it for us. Great service. I will be back here to “Aroniadikarooms” 10 out of 10

Modern and beautiful place, done with great taste. Even the smallest detail is thought through. Ideal for a family, perfect place to unwind. The owners have been extremely helpful and hospitable, they even stayed up very very late at night to make sure we check-in in good order and we find everything. You’ll be nicely spoiled!

We were glad to have 5 days to sink into Kythera. You need a car to really experience this amazing island. There is only one restaurant and one cafe in Dhiakofti, but they are both enjoyable places to eat. No night life, no souvenir stores, no shopping. A quiet, family-friendly beach town.

It's a very quiet, sleepy village.

It's a very quiet, sleepy village. There is only one taverna, with so-so food, but with tables on the beach, so that can be nice. It's a great place for kids and families. But for good coffee, bars, restaurants, good beaches, you need to drive somewhere else, like Avlemonas. There is nothing in Diakofti.

From October to March this little hamlet rather than village...

From October to March this little hamlet rather than village shuts down; no bars or restaurants are open. The little shop or mini market is open randomly. If you are coming here in the off season, have a car so you can get to the next town or if you don’t bring water, milk, alcohol or food so you’re all set. During the summer I’m sure it’s a paradise; we just went on last regular ferry of the year. It’s quiet, beautiful at night and has gorgeous clear water. If you wanna go somewhere and just chill, I recommend.

Dhiakofti is great if you want to have a great beach at...

Dhiakofti is great if you want to have a great beach at walking distance but it's far from Chora or anything else you might want to see - except for Avlemonas which is my favourite place on the island. There are a couple of taverns there but we didn't sit there so can't really recommend them.

Diakofri is the port of the island of Kythera.

Diakofri is the port of the island of Kythera. It’s a place away from Chora, main town of Kythera. It is place for relaxation with limited options for food, bars etc. Nevertheless it is close to Avlemonas which is a very beautiful and more lively place.

Diakofti is clean, sandy beach with warm turquoise blue water. Even if it's windy and the waves are high at other beaches, you can always swim at Diakofti. There is a cafe on the beach that serves excellent meals. One of the best tavernas in Kythira is also located there. We recommend it for dinner.

Everything was so nice. The owners could not be better, they were so kind and friendly, offering us all kind of benefits we could ask for. Also, the village of Diakofti is perfect if you want to spend some relaxing days in the beach, and the views from the room were exceptional. The location in the island is also really nice.

Loved the location. Close to the most ideal swimming areas. Molly the manager and her team were amazing… friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and tidy . The gardens were even attended daily. Diakofti is a good location for seeing the rest of the island. Will hope to return to this very cool spot again!

Warm and friendly welcome from my host, Sofia. Large, well-appointed studio apartment with a fabulous view from the excellent balcony. Perfect accommodation in a peaceful location with easy access to the local amenities. Would definitely recommend for a visit to Kythira.
