We stayed for 10 days in September 2025. Loved every day, spacious, clean apartment with a nice view of the sea. Tavernas, Minimarket and at least 6 beaches in walking distance, one of those (Kaki Lagkada) is one of the most beautiful of the island. Many thanks for being a great host, we would love to stay again!

Wonderful experience, although we did not stay at this hotel. Due to special circumstances, the hotel was closed, but they have organized a hotel of the same quality nearby. We were a group of nine, so not such an easy task. Making sure we are okay, they took time for numerous phone calls and messages. We stayed at Filoxenia hotel which was fabulous. The rooms are pleasant, and the staff is doing their best for you to feel welcomed. Many thanks to both, Romantica and Filoxenia hotel.

We love Agia Pelagia and stay here each time we come to Kythera. There are loads of restaurants to eat at, we can swim here and it is the perfect place to base yourself as you will need to drive around Kythera to visit the sights/beaches/towns. It is my 4th time visiting and we’ll be back to stay at Romantica.

The perfect beach side holiday for those wanting to avoid hordes of tourists. Lots of options for eating out and all within easy walking distance. Plenty of nice beaches and a friendly, relaxing vibe everywhere we went. So many other attractions on the island that it's worth hiring a car - easy drive from Pelagia to Potamos, Kapsali and other beautiful locations on the island.

We fell in love with the island and could have stayed much longer. So much natural beauty, wonderful beaches, charming villages, great tavernas. We did a lot of swimming in the sea, so many beaches to choose from (we liked Loukidimis Paleopolis and Fourni especially). Swimming in the grotto at Avelamos was another highlight. Also enjoyed just driving through the countryside and stoping in town squares along the way to eat and explore shops. Mylopotomas was our favorite village, eat at the taverna in the center of town. Enchanting. The view from the castle in Chora is spectacular. We appreciated that the island was not over run by tourists. Our accommodations at Castri Village were so comfortable and the hosts were very kind and helpful. It was so easy to walk down to the village and enjoy. We ate every night on the beach in Agia Pelagia. Amazing ambiance, food and hospitality.

The cleanest hotel I have ever seen. Extremely friendly people, Giorgos is there to help you with anything you need and provide you ideas on the places you can visit on the island. Room was comfortable and kids really liked it. The view from the balcony is amazing. The beach in Agia Pelagia is excellent for young kids and there are multiple restaurants and cafes.

Excellent location, just back from the seafront and a very short walk to restaurants. Lovely beach. Clean, well equipped apartment. Good shower and a comfortable bed. Chrissa supplied water and delicious treats.
