stayed at this guest house for three nights, the guesthouse belongs to a famous restaurant, that is original maids of shop and restaurant.i stayed at king room,it is spacious and clean, with complete facilities, like toiletries, minibar,TV,and even a coffee machine. the staff here is nice and friendly, that time when check in, the staff asha(not sure of the spelling) helped me bringing my heavy luggages upstairs, many thanks for her. i had an adternoon tea at thier restaurant,it is a nice experience,i love the restaurant, with beautiful decor, elegant.took lots of pics there.besides afternoon tea,i had breakfast at the restaurant everyday during the stay. that time,i had full english breakfast, full vegan breakfast and eggs Benedict. all are delicious, and portion very generous, love them! i also tried their famous egg tart,it is yummy, and crispy.the whole place is very English style, and close to Kew garden.staying here,i sleep well, cuz the place is quiet, and also eat well, cuz the delicious food served by the attached restaurant, i will be back for sure, next time will stay at other room type, highly recommended!

This apartment is compact but very well set out, clean and the decor is lovely. I think Neil has gone to a lot of trouble to make it as comfortable as possible. It was very convenient to the train station, the National Archives and the village at Kew Gardens Station where I found everything I needed and having the laundromat nearby was good too. Loved that it was a ground floor unit.

The studio is comfy; good lighting, nice view on both sides of the building. Kitchenette - very handy. Bathroom - OK. Generally clean. On a side note - the train line goes near the building; it didn't bother me, but good to know.

We went to Kew specifically to go to the National Archives MI5 exhibition, which was outstanding. Also went to Kew Gardens which we found too expensive. We found a French restaurant, Le Petit Bistrot, very close to Kew Gardens station, where the food and service were excellent.

The rooms were clean, and appliances were more than we needed for our visit but would be excellent for a longer stay. The bus service to other areas ran past the front door and made visits to other areas very accessible. We ate at Maids despite the early closing for meals. Other eating areas were close by, but mobility issues restricted us. I found the steep stairs and low balustrade confronting.

Great location, lovely clean tree lined suburb.Kew gardens definitely worth a visit- pre book for cheaper tickets but bewareBLUE LIGHT CARDS not accepted for free visit sadly inspite of Blue light saying it does. Lots of cafes and places to eat-individual shops, London prices…£3.50 for cup of tea- pricey for us northerners! Great area to explore- one stop on tube to Richmond- riverside cafe and pubs and walks- refreshing and spectacular river views.

the room was shabby, lots to the fronts of the draws had fallen off. The bathroom door didn't shut properly, the shower doors didn't shut and the shower fell of the wall if you tried to move the position. The room smelt of cigarette smoke. it was a good location for Kew Gardens and Richmond Village. There were easy places to park. The beds were comfortable, and we slept fine

Lovely village feel, with cafes, interesting shops and lots of trees. Kew Gardens is a must, but we also walked to Kew Pier and took a boat trip to Richmond - a lovely half hour on the River Thames. Kew Gardens Station is on the District line of the London Underground, and it was easy to get to South Kensington for the Proms at the Albert Hall from here. Bus 110 is also worth knowing - especially if the District Line has bad delays! You can get from Hammersmith or Richmond (and beyond) back to Kew on it.

We were really happy to stay at this property. It was exactly as described and in a great location for Kew Gardens tube. We had great communication from the owner. He was reassuring and gave good directions for getting to the property. It was very clean and well equipped for our stay. Although we only spent one night, we would happily return for multiple nights. There are good shops and cafes nearby inc Tesco Express for grocery needs

First night in England and had a great night's sleep on a cozy bed. Good sized bathroom with a hot shower once I worked out how to get the hot water! Liked that I could open the windows.
