They didn't do breakfast but the evening meal made up for it. Joanne went out of her way to make our stay memorable. Nothing was to much trouble. The staff were fantastic and the room's were spotless and very comfortable. We loved it.

❣️🏠 This little gem of a cottage was a lovely place. Clean and tidy and very warm and cosy. The cottage had everything we needed. A real home away from home. The bathroom is stunning. I was so comfortable staying here and the bed is enormous! If you’re coming to Appleby then definitely stay here! 😇

This is a gorgeous tiny little cottage, and so beautiful, warm, comfortable and cosy. The bed was super comfortable and we had the best nights sleep. The owners left us some chocolates, milk, biscuits, beer, wine and jams which was so nice. Everything we needed was provided. The cottage is adjacent to a fabulous pub where we ate breakfast every morning and had dinner one evening. The food was great and the pub staff are so friendly and welcoming . The pub had live music one night but once inside the cottage we, couldn’t hear a thing . Parking was for the cottage is outside the front door which was perfect. Opposite the cottage is a short walk down to the River, the weir and a ford . It’s very pretty there and a lovely area to walk our dogs. The pretty town of Appleby is only a 10min walk away.
