We loved the comfortable bed and the delicious breakfast! There was nothing wrong with the shower as mentioned in an earlier review... It was great! Our host was very accommodating and informative. He went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. The good parking was a bonus. Oh, and the cake was delicious!

We all had an amazing stay at Brinks view. The hosts we're very friendly and welcoming. The house had everything we could have needed for our weekend away. The little touches from the hosts, such as fresh bread and cakes were so lovely. We honestly couldn't have asked for more. Our weekend was spent hiking and scrambling. We visited three different peaks over the three days. The house was in a perfect location for access. Thanks guys, we'll definitely be back x

Nothing was a problem for them, organising flowers as we were celebrating our 25th Anniversary, booking a table for dinner, offering advice on things to do near by and much much more. I couldn't fault our trip - it was simply wonderful from start to finish. We had booked a king room which was amazing, so spacious, clean and modern. Topped off by a beautiful mountain view. The surrounding area had lovely walks with scenery for miles! The Blind Bull staff were all so friendly and welcoming, taking a genuine interest in your stay. There were so many small touches which made the stay feel extra special! The food was exceptional - everything tasted so good so I would definitely recommend booking an evening dinner in the restaurant.

Hope is an absolute gem of a village in the Peak District with so much in the way of amenities. There are 3 great pubs which all do fantastic looking food as well as a convenience store and an Indian Takeaway.

There is a hop on hop off bus that goes round the Peak...

There is a hop on hop off bus that goes round the Peak District, would be handy to use as parking can be an issue at busy times. The Old Hall Hotel was a great place for dinner - staff were amazing and accommodated our group really well. Look out for events taking place in the Peak Cavern (The Devil's Arse), we went to a live music event, which was brilliant. Great hiking routes around Mam Tor, with easier routes as well as harder routes.

Hope is a pleasant village.

Hope is a pleasant village. Having a station is a great bonus, providing the opportunity to travel locally - and beyond - without worrying about parking etc. There are a couple of good pubs and other places to eat.

Hope sits on an A road and is just a few minutes from...

Hope sits on an A road and is just a few minutes from Castleton. It is handy for some really interesting places and good walking routes. Without roadworks it will be three quarters of an hour from Sheffield and the M1.

There are 3 nice real ale pubs, a deli and a couple of lovely cafes. It's a centre for all sorts of outdoor activities and can get busy in the summer. You can see the cement factory chimney from everywhere, but it's not an eyesore.

The Hotel offers good value for money and plenty of parking in close proximity to other more touristy towns and attractions. Staff was very friendly. The tearoom was wonderful. Breakfast was really good.

We enjoyed 3 nights whilst taking in the sights of Hope & Edale. The room was lovely & clean, the staff were attentive and welcoming too, always approachable. Saturday night was very busy but that didn't stop the bar staff going above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. We had a selection of coffee, tea etc in our room on arrival. We had fresh towels & soaps laid out for us, with a spare hand/bath towel too.

Lovely small cottage in Hope, great facilities at cottage with nice pub close by (Cheshire Cheese) and farm shop with amazing meat. Only warning is the car parking - as others said it’s a tight turn - with stone walls all around - meaning it’s a several point turn. But be fine with a small car.

This is a beautiful cottage in an ideal location in Hope with footpaths very close by. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was modern with spacious shower. Kitchen was well equipped and there were TVs in most rooms.
