We stopped over night as we were travelling from a distance and had planned trips to alton towers and the the monkey forest. We didnt want to book a hotel room as they dont generally provide all home comforts, and after a long active day with the kids we all need home comforts! Clean house, all home comforts present. Children were very settled and comfy. Just like home from home. Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Beautiful views from the windows. Very helpful hosts, plenty of info given beforehand and whilst we stayed. Actually didn't need to contact the host as all information given was very detailed and informative. Would highly recommend to anyone thats travelling with family or friends.

It exceeded my expectations for the budget price that we had to pay. I was blown away with what we had for the cost of our stay. £40 for two people and there was a sauna, a gym, a steam room. Although budget it's 100% worth and value for money, but remember it is a budget. Stay bear that in mind the holiday is what you make it. We met some wonderful people. Thank you for this day. Location for Alton towers was excellent. The studio was cosy, but ample space for a family of four. All the basic kitchen items were available which made it easy to make simple meals. Great communication from the host leading up to us arriving - we arrived in the evening, and they accommodated that late arrival.

A small, yet quite lovely little place. The thing that makes it is the people. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, a great place! There isn’t an abundance of shops and if you want a quick and cheap bite to eat there are a few weatherspoon/hungry horse type of places around.

A cute village feel with some lovely history and quite a few cute shops. Plenty of choices for take away food locally and our host had thoughtfully left these with our personal welcome note, which was a lovely touch.

We stayed near to Alton Towers, and it was a short drive to...

We stayed near to Alton Towers, and it was a short drive to the resort. Alton Towers is in the middle of nowhere, and signage sometimes led us part way, and then just stopped. The SatNav lost signal, and Google Maps saved the day. We had a fantastic day - it was our granddaughter's 4th birthday, and her first trip to a theme part. We were lucky with the weather, so couldn't fault anything. The queues for the rides weren't too bad, and as we brought picnics, we didn't need to wait for refreshment.

The location was beautiful, great views. The house really well equipped for our group of 7 & clean. The hot tub was massive, generous outdoor seating area / table. BBQ a decent size. 30 ish minute walk into Cheadle, plenty of Supermarkets nearby

Nice cosy hotel. The rooms were comfy. The best feature are the owners. We had accidentally booked an extra room the refunded the whole money for it. The breakfast was fantastic. They made pancakes.and fresh croissants for us. Lovely people
