Chambres d hotes La cle arches is delightful and tastefully furnished property with a modern twist. The bedroom was large, nicely decorated and very cosy and had a good en suite. We arrived far to early but Sandrine welcomed us with open arms and made us welcome with a cup of tea. The garden is huge with an outdoor swimming pool which of course was closed for the season, but most be lovely to sit outside when it gets a bit warmer (and not in the middle of winter). When we got back from dinner that evening, a tray with a flask of hot water, 2 mugs and herbal tea was placed on the bed with a message to sleep well, how cute is that? And yes we slept like a log. Breakfast was typically French (Sandrine informed us beforehand about this) and this was more than enough. Lovely fresh breads, croissants etc including fresh fruit salad and we also had crepes as it was a special day (a bit like pancake day in UK). They have a secure parking in front of the house with an electric gate. Would highly recommend La cle arches and the next time will stay longer than 1 night.

Everything was exceptional. The views, the location, the decor, the cleanliness and the breakfast. Every small thing has been thought of. It is ridiculously underpriced in my opinion as I couldn't fault it. Would highly recommend.

We stay in this accommodation for one night, it was very nice, very friendly owners and breakfast was delicious. We had a nice drink in the village (walking distance) with live music. I was our 1 night stop on the way to Spain and it exceeded our expectations.

An excellent little hotel perfectly situated for passing through on our travels. This is not a modern or up to date place but had a charm and was a nice change from a chain hotel. The couple running the hotel were very welcoming and we and our two young children enjoyed the atmosphere and eclectic Christmas decorations and mounted jigsaw puzzles. Meals were basic but of the region and all served with love.

This is a great place to stay if you love France and traditional French hotels. It oozes charm and authentic quirkiness. Everything works but in a way that will delight some and shock others. I loved it. And the owners even gave over their own garage to house my motorcycle for the night - sublime!
