Thank you so much for the hotel manager that suggested upgrading to the junior suit - it was perfect! Freshly renovated big suit with a/c, comfortable bed and all new facilities. The breakfast was incredible. Amazing staff. Can't imagine better stay

A family run country hotel in a lovely peaceful location. The restaurant offers a home cooked, seasonal menu with local (Loire valley) wines. Comfortable rooms (if a little small), with tea/coffee and a small balcony. Good access to Peage for travel to/from Caen. Our dog was welcome (charge 12 euros) and had the run of the substantial grounds.

Beautiful historic hotel which has been lovingly bought back to original with huge medieval fireplace in breakfast room, original ceiling beams and set in peaceful lush courtyard garden within walking distance to everything Chinon has to offer. The owners were delightful and engaging and it was an excellent choice. Highly recommended

The two ladies who looked after us pm and am were lovely and helpful. Nice breakfast which was topped up as required. Good location for a trip to see Chinon and tbe area and to travel further south.
