Wow, what a find, absolutely beautiful place to stay, the apartment was perfect and very well equipped, the location was stunning. The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't want to leave. The facilities were a real treat, the sauna and jacuzzi were a real bonus 😁. This is one of the best places we have stayed and would recommend to anyone. It really was fantastic.

Very warm welcome, caring hosts who do want you to enjoy your stay. Cozy rooms, comfortable beds, daily housekeeping, everything spic-and-span. Great cooked breakfast with fresh orange juice, eggs and tostada with tomato. Only 10 minutes' walk to the center of Potes where all the restaurants are. Supermarket next door, parking in front of the building.

absolutely brilliant location and big airy rooms with all the facilities/comforts you may want with regards to sleeping and bathroom! No Coffee/tea making facilities in the room but they are not needed as the staff is almost always available to address guests needs/requests

If visiting Fuente De the cable car is a must (dependant on...

If visiting Fuente De the cable car is a must (dependant on the weather). We took the cable car up then walked all the way back down, approx. 14km. The views from the top and on the walk down are superb. There is a Hotel with a cafe after about 4km to get drinks and food. The walk is not too strenuous as it's mainly down hill although the last section back to Fuente De through the forest is a bit up and down. Overall a great walk, 9 out of 10.

First time visit to Picos de Europa - which we knew for a...

First time visit to Picos de Europa - which we knew for a long time - give us a very pleasant encounter with a thru mountain type of landscape and scenery. It is very accessible, thanks to its heights and (obviously) with the cable car lifting you to 1800m in a few minutes :-). Though, the weather wasn't that good when we were there - end of april 2024 - with some light snow and quite foggy. You should prepare and dress accordingly, it's still a mountain environment - and be ready to change your plans. Staying at the Parador de Fuente Dé is a good place to start discovering the Picos de Europa.

This hamlet is about 90 mins from the autoroute up some...

This hamlet is about 90 mins from the autoroute up some quite challenging but superb mountainous roads. Beware the 3 or 4 roadworks. The hotel is located right next to the cable car which takes just a few minutes' vertiginous ride to the 1800 metre summit. The weather was good and there was no wind. A busy restaurant and hotel at the top. Great views too. A good stop for hikers, bikers and off-roaders; none of which apply to me.

Amazing hotel located between national park's mountain peaks. The view, nature and atmosphere is incredible. From there you can take a cable car for a nice hiking in the mountains (remember to book it earlier) or go for many hikes in the forests and mountains. Rooms were spacious and clean as well as bathroom. This was one of the better hotel during my northern Spain trip. The hotel offers big dining place, living room on the floor.

A lovely hotel right in the heart of the mountains. Friendly staff and a good meal at the restaurant. We had drinks in the cafe too which was very pleasant. We had a family room just for one night and it was exactly what we needed.
