Location is fantastic, right next to the entrance to the scenic area. The staff were very warm, welcoming and thoughtful, gave us tonnes of tips on how to best enjoy the yellow mountains and even a massage gun after we came down! Amenities were very plentiful - they offer everything you could possibly want from a hotel. The room was very comfortable and modern with voice controlled curtains and a very fancy bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. They also offer free rain ponchos and walking sticks to help with the hike.

Everything is excellent. The owner Andy was very helpful and accommodating. He managed to help us to get the train tickets during the peak hours . The location is very good, 5 mins walk from the bus station, and to the Huangsan mountain ticketing station. Many restaurants around the area.

Both the hotel and staff were fantastic. I rented a room here last minute when I decided it would be best to spend one night in Tangkou after hiking Huangshan rather than trekking all the way back to my lodgings in Huangshan City (60 km away). This boutique hotel is a gem--beautifully designed and extremely comfortable. The staff offered to pick me up from the bus stop after a long day of hiking in torrential rain (they had provided their WeChat number, and replied almost immediately), and also arranged for my transportation back to Huangshan City the following day (the price for this latter was just a bit higher than the intercity bus I took on the way there, and was much more comfortable). They also recommended the best hiking route for my second day on Huangshan (which turned out to be spectacular). The hotel exceeded all of my expectations and I would certain stay there again! It's in a wonderful spot (surrounded by mountains right along the river, a short walk away from one of the scenic area entry points). Mimi, the resident kitty cat, was also adorable.

The property is in an amazing location. The hotel is beautiful, really clean and comfortable. The food of the restaurant is delicious. The host is very kind and always available to help. The host arranged transportation for us seamlessly. Overall, great stay in a really great place, 100% recommend.

Nice place. Family business, not too big, really helpful staff, they arrange transportation to huang shan entrance free of charge, can help with tickets too. Nice breakfast starting from 5:30 so you can climb early (convenient in summer). Children loved the stones in the shower floor, especially after a long day hiking in the mountains !

On top of that, the owner is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. I love how nice people were!! Everything looked nice. Edward gave me amazing advices on how to climb the Huanshan moutain safely. He was so kind and patient. There is a movie night organized each night I was there so you can easily connect with other travelers. There is also a nice bar and snacks offered by the hostel. I totally recommend this hostel to everyone!

The host is super nice and has an answer for all your questions. The food in the Hotel is also very tasty, the head staff is also a great tea lover just try the different teas, they taste very good. They will drive you to the starting point of the national park and will also give you some helpful tips. Overall we had a very very nice stay. Thank you for having us.
