I liked that this hotel was truly pet friendly. There was no extra fees, or agreement to sign. The staff tried to be friendly to my dogs...but my dogs are small but EXTREMELY protective so I kept them in hand. The hotel was very nice and clean. The bed was huge and so so comfy.

All Staff were amazing. Our room was large and very comfortable & clean & the hardwood flooring is awesome compared to other hotel rooms with carpet. The breakfast included with your stay is excellent as well as the dining area.

Definitely worth a visit!

Definitely worth a visit! Quiet city with many cultural and religious attractions. My children noticed the very tasty ice cream, everywhere and the excellently arranged and maintained parks. The people on the streets are very friendly. The shops and shopping centers are overflowing with abundance and advantageous offers. Comparatively low prices, including for fuel (the lowest). The authorities do not charge parking on weekends, holidays and at certain times, which makes the tourist attractions extremely accessible and attractive. We parked for free and walked a lot, we visited many places. Easy city to fly around, without much traffic, and the police do not bother you. Very welcoming, very friendly city, with many places to visit. Definitely, it is worth including in tourist itineraries, being a pearl of the province of New-Brunswick.

This was our third trip to Frederickton.

This was our third trip to Frederickton. It’s a gem of a town. Love the museum, the walking bridge, the parks, the views, the shops including The Artisan District, Hattis and The Gallery, all found on Queen Street. Don’t miss Chess Piece Coffee Shop and Moco for terrific Italian food. Of course one has to sit at Picaroons Brewery Company for a beer, snacks and a relaxed afternoon!

Fredericton is a very historical old city (1784).

Fredericton is a very historical old city (1784). Many beautifully preserved homes from the troubled period of the American revolution. Most of the population today are descendant of Loyalist stock, a large royal heritage in its building permeates the city, leafy avenues, a large Cathedral modelled on Exeter, UK. The world famous Beaverbrook Art Museum, the beautiful St-John River, many good restaurants. A very walkable city. So much on offer.

Walking tour of the Garrison area was very nice. Visitor Info was hard to find. Heads up Fredericton and all Eastern Canada ..... Put some money into installing road and street name signs (both of them) on DIAGONAL street corners throughout the entire city. No street names, or the one located directly above your head that you CANNOT see from your car - as you're watching lights, pedestrians, traffic and GPS in unfamiliar territory. IS NOT HELPFUL So I left ..........

We were only passing through on our way to North Sydney, NS,...

We were only passing through on our way to North Sydney, NS, and ultimately to Newfoundland. We had visited, and stayed in, Fredericton back in 2009, when we really enjoyed our time there. Fredericton is the capital of New Brunswick (since 1785), so there are a lot of historical places, museums, parks and other interesting things to see there. It is also where you will find the Reversing Falls Rapids on the St. John River.

I was surprised at how pretty Fredricton is. Situated on the St. John River, the downtown area is delightful with many cute and trendy boutiques. Beautiful characterful buildings to see, and lots of opportunities for adventures on the river

The location was rather disappointing as we were a mature couple travelling for pleasure. We understood that there was a restaurant on site, this was not the case. The basic room was rather bland, overlooking the business park.However, when we said that we were disappointed and that we were willing to pay for a suite, this was arranged. We used the pool, again we were surprised that there were no changing rooms. This hotel is probably ideal for families travelling with children during the warmer months.

The location of the Crowne Plaza was perfect for walking to quaint shops, local historic sights with beautiful old architecture, and nearby walking trails. Although the hotel is older, the rooms were refurbished and clean with housekeeping refreshing rooms daily, which was a bonus. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The business centre accessible to guests was in a quiet location.

The bed sheets looked stained. The comforter over top was dirty, so I removed it to sleep. In the hotels defence I did not bring this to their attention as it was late in the evening when we arrived The bathroom tub had rust. Whole bathroom needs a major reno. There was a stain on the ceiling . We can ayes for two nights but only stayed one and got accommodations elsewhere

I can not recommend that hotel. The stuff was very friendly, we also liked the facilities and the pool but it was all dirty. Especially our appartment. There was still food from the previous guests in our fridge, mold on the windows and yellow stains on the counter top in the bathroom. Very frustrating.

Confortable bed, confortable pillows. Though at corner of main roads was nice and quiet overnight. Close to the walking bridge, so you can actually walk into downtown Fredericton while staying outside. Close to the renowned Picaroons Brewery Roundhouse.
