Booked last minute but so so happy we decided to stay here. Very clean and spacious, perfect location and facilities, lovely staff. Pictures on the website don’t do it justice as our room felt very modern too!

Yass is very picturesque.

Yass is very picturesque. It has a mixture of old and new buildings which blend together well. It simply has a nice feel to the place. Ate at one of the clubs - RSL? Food was great - atmosphere was very good.

We were pleasantly surprised by the charm of Yass and...

We were pleasantly surprised by the charm of Yass and enjoyed the historical walking tour of the town and a leisurely walk along the river. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Kaffeine in town and had fun discovering the gift shops and their beautiful wares. We found Yass a great base to explore the different surrounding regions and towns.

Yass is a typical country town with a good range of cafes...

Yass is a typical country town with a good range of cafes and restaurants/pubs. On this occasion, on a public holiday we found that The Australian hotel pub has good selection of beers and food with more than generous portions. The same applies to their desserts.

Nice Country town with plenty of facilities, good shopping- affordable coffee shops and street food, grest hambuger shop's, clubs first class, lovely church to attend on Sunday wlth freindly people , mechanical outlet's, close to vineyards and Canberra.

A lovely historic town with a great walk near the river.

A lovely historic town with a great walk near the river. The closeness to Canberra was very beneficial as I heard Vivaldi, some Tchaikovsky, Mozart and Paganini played by the Chamber Philharmonia Cologne which consisted of 5 stringed instruments and a Spanish baritone soloist. I was lucky to have heard them in the Catholic Chapel. It was the highlight of my trip.

Yass is a super cute little country town with lots of...

Yass is a super cute little country town with lots of character and cool old Victorian buildings. I'm a building and house creeper, so love wandering around local streets checking out the architecture. There are a few great cafes and restaurants, and a handful of shops - nothing too fancy. The Yass river provides some nice spots to hike or picnic and the town has a handful of interesting historic places.

We were well impressed! I booked very late driving up the highway and was worried we would be jammed in a small space with uncomfy beds, but it was totally the opposite. Nice quiet spot, really comfy beds, lovely shower, nice and clean room with a surprising amount of space (we had a queen and two singles). A bonus was an easy stroll to the river for a morning jog along a well maintained path. Yass was a great spot to stop.

Location is very good-unlike some of the other hotels in Yass it is very quiet overnight without traffic noise. Excellent for family groups needing a separate bedroom too and the bathroom was clean and spacious. The kitchen too was very handy so we were p[leased we'd chosen Swaggers.
