Truly wonderful experience - the staff, the location, the aesthetics and little touches in the room. Would love to come back. We arrived on morning flights (probably looking dreadful) and they took care of our luggage and upgraded our room. Their little cafe (Elias Coffee) next time also offers quality coffee. One of the best hotels I've stayed at in Austria.

From the moment I walked into Jaz in the City Vienna, I knew I was in for something special. This hotel nails the balance between edgy urban design and warm hospitality, making it a truly memorable stay. The interiors are sleek, modern, and vibrant—clearly inspired by music and art, which adds a playful yet sophisticated vibe throughout the space. But the real standout? The bar overlooking Vienna. Whether you’re enjoying a craft cocktail at sunset or sipping coffee as the city wakes up, the panoramic view is nothing short of stunning. It’s the kind of place where you want to linger—chill music, a relaxed atmosphere, and a skyline that reminds you why Vienna is one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. Service was on point, the location is perfect for exploring, and the ambiance makes you feel like you’re part of something cool and contemporary. Whether you’re in town for music, culture, or just to relax in style, Jaz in the City delivers. Highly recommended—especially for those rooftop vibes.

FAQs about hotels in Vienna

Waltz Through the Pretty Streets of Vienna

Previously the center of the Hapsburg Empire, Vienna is the current center of Austria’s culture, economics, and politics. Visitors may think they are in a museum as they walk through the historic first district, but Vienna also has a youthful and dynamic side with lots to offer.

St Stephens Cathedral in the Inner-City is surrounded by the Ring Road, with grandiose buildings like City Hall, the Austrian Parliament, the State Opera House and the Burgtheater. Enjoy the city where amazing musicians like Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, and Mahler once lived. If you’'re visiting during the carnival season, practice your waltzing skills at one of Vienna’s 200 glamorous annual balls.

Visitors can wander around beautiful park grounds in the Wiener Prater and Schonbrunn Palace provides imperial and extravagant grounds to stroll through. After exploring, eat with the locals by enjoying famous sandwiches at Trzesniewski, a Wiener Schnitzel at Cafe Central or taste traditional wines at the city’s many Viennese pubs.

Vienna International Airport is the doorway to the heart of Vienna. Booking.com has luxury hotels, charming bed & breakfasts and modern apartments to meet any accommodation needs for your stay in Austria’s capital.

What Guests Said About Vienna:

Vienna is a beautify city with lots to see and do.

Vienna is a beautify city with lots to see and do. I highly recommend seeing the Opera while there. Visiting the museums and palaces are a must. Shopping is something you want to do. The public transit is great and very easy to use. The 3 day transit pass (good on all forms of transit) is unbeatable. If time allows, a visit to the Central Cemetary where famous musicians are buried is enjoyable. The outdoor sausage vendors are great for lunch. There are so many good places to eat.

Vienna was one of the best family cities I have visited.

Vienna was one of the best family cities I have visited. It was easy to find our way around, clean and felt super safe. There was so much to do. We never stopped and can’t wait to go back again. We enjoyed the Spanish horses, Albertina art gallery, Vivaldi concert, free walking tour which gave some great knowledge of the city, the butterfly house and Prater Park - this was our least favourite during the trip very over priced and the rides are not great. It was cheap and easy to get around Vienna - again perfect for a family. Everything was on time, clean and well ordered. We would love to go back during the Christmas markets - they were setting them up and they looked brilliant.

So many sights to see!

So many sights to see! Vienna offers many interesting locations to visit, from historical sites, shopping venues, event venues and museums! Getting around is super easy - install their public transit app, buy a 24/48/72 hour ticket and use any type of public transport that they offer. It's easy to get around, plan routes, and I can only sing praises to the punctuality and availability. My car was in the garage for the whole stay. The historical center is always busy and there's plenty to do, starting from Stephansplatz and the Stephansdom, to shopping streets that start from there, and a short walk away you'll find many places to visit: the Roman museum, the Mozarthaus, Andreaskapelle, Petersplatz, Pfarrkirche St. Michael and many more, and that's just the centre. Take a tour of the whole centre, plenty to see and learn and visit. The museum we visited was the National Library and the Prunksaal where you'll learn a lot about history and can admire the ceiling paintings created by Daniel Gran, the perspective and details are breathtaking. If you have time, go to the University of Vienna Botanical Garden that's right next to the Belvedere Palace, so many interesting plants to see, and squirrels that come up to you to say hi. You can even enter a small bamboo forest - it's especially great during windy days! Another stop you don't want to miss is the Haus des Meeres, an aquarium that's in Esterhazy Park, and also houses the sea turtle Puppi who lives there since 1982, a rescue that is well taken care of. The aquarium spans over 11 floors and you need at least 3 hours to visit all of them! You have plenty of food options, but one hidden gem for us was the Moment Cafe and Restaurant, it's family run, small, with super friendly and attending staff, and has the best schnitzel you can try!

Vienna is the best city in the world.

Vienna is the best city in the world. Everywhere you go it’s clean, no pollution, and the history of the city is incredible. The country has found peace by choosing to opt out of NATO and they are thriving. There is a sense of individuality, and I admire that. All the locals look happy and healthy. I constantly saw people keeping fit and healthy by running and walking which is always great. I also LOVED the cafe culture (reminds me of home) and everywhere you go the coffee is wonderful. Germans are awesome! Definitely will be back, thank you!

Vienna is a city that perfectly blends imperial grandeur with modern elegance. From magnificent palaces like Schönbrunn and Belvedere to the artistic treasures of its museums, every corner feels steeped in history and culture. The city is exceptionally clean, well-organized, and easy to explore with its efficient public transport system. Street performances, classical music, and charming cafés add to its timeless charm.

From the hotel the reception was the best! It was my first time in Vienna and mr Alexis from the reception was very friendly and helpful. He explained me everything with details and I liked that he was smiley and patient. The breakfast was very good and the staff from the breakfast were smiley and welcoming. The location was very good only 20 minutes with metro to the city centre and the metro station was 3 minutes from the hotel.
