We had a wonderful holiday in the newly built villa (lodge 9), just above the lodges. Our personal highlight of the Garden Route! We travelled about 4 hours from Cape Town, the arrival and departure was absolutely smooth! (I would suggest a car) The villas are situated on a large area, surrounded by buffalo, various antelope species and also 2 rhinos! We were able to observe the animals at close quarters around the clock. The villas are incredibly beautiful, with a hot tub on the terrace, outdoor showers and barbecue areas and even a pizza oven! In principle, the villas are self-catering, there is a small self-service shop on the premises, and you can also order various food boxes (barbecues, burgers, pizza) and have them delivered - all highly recommended! Another small highlight was the guided tour with the owner of the farm around the grounds followed by breakfast. We felt very comfortable and welcome. The Botelierskop Game Reserve is also nearby (about 20 minutes) and is also recommended if you want to go on further safaris. We were completely satisfied and would definitely come again, 10/10!

The location is incredible. It’s remote, peaceful and so close to nature(amazing fynbos and the clouds passing through are magical). We also LOVED the food - we are vegan and they made us an exceptional platter and we enjoyed their Harvest Table meal - many places get this so wrong for us but the quality of the food and attention to flavour is some of the best we have ever had. The team were all also very helpful and accommodating from start to finish - thank you! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved our stay here - we were in Tent 4 which was so peaceful with a beautiful view and amazing bird life. We absolutely loved the hot tub and spent many hours in there. great little farm shop, we had the braai and breakfast baskets - so beautifully prepared and perfect for what we needed. the mountain bike trail was fab, and my daughter and I had a morning horse ride with lovely guide Elias. Very highly recommend a stay here - we wished we could stay longer!

The Old Post Office lodge is in the perfect location. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Good water pressure in the shower. The room had a balcony. Breakfast included was great.
