We had a wonderful stay! Brendan, the host, was easy to communicate with and always available if needed, making everything seamless. The house itself is a traditional country home—basic yet impeccably clean and fully equipped with absolutely EVERYTHING. It’s incredibly spacious, with a large kitchen featuring a big table, coffee machine, microwave, washing machine, dryer, and more. Anything you could possibly need is provided. It was just me and my partner, so we only used one room, and the bed was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom and shower rooms are simple but spotless, with plenty of towels and toiletries provided. A special highlight was the lovely fireplace—it added a cozy charm to the stay and was an extra bonus we thoroughly enjoyed. If you’re looking to stay in a traditional Irish home with all the essentials, this is the perfect place to book. Brendan was a pleasure to deal with, and we would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great, nothing to complain about. The owner lady has been extremely customer oriented, you can feel this business is her life. We booked a family room (double bed + single) for 2 people, because we were disappointed at other places about the size of beds - here it was perfect! Also the quality of the mattress was super high quality and comfortable. the room was spacious, the bathroom is comfortable and clean - Centrally located, just a few meters walk to the center, easy/free parking onsite.

Located in the centre of Killarney, beside the gates to the National Park, the family-run Castle Lodge provides the ideal base from which to explore the Ring of Kerry.

Huge room, free parking, and lovely staff. We had some minor issues with our room (bathroom ceiling light did not work so we managed with the light) and the radiator is directly behind the curtains. . But the staff were very helpful & offered to change our room if we wanted. The only other downside was the stairs made it a bit hard to deal with our luggage. The location & parking was absolutely perfect for our Ring of Kerry adventure though. Easy to walk to town and get dinner or do a bit of shopping.
