Extraordinary customer service which rivals any luxury hotel. The location was perfect, walking distance from the Karnak and Luxor Temples. 24/7 supermarket in the building. Swimming pool was nice and clean. The dinner was ridiculously abundant, very delicious authentic Egyptian food at a good price

I would definitely recommend Al Salam Camp for your stay in Luxor. The owner and the family are very welcoming and helpful, you can ask for any help, advise or service as transport (he got us a very professional driver that even came ahead of time early morning for our flight). I originally booked a room with shared bathroom but we've been offered one with private bathroom which was very kind. The place is in the West Bank of Luxor so if you're looking to escape the hassle of touristic places, this is the place to be, it's well equipped and just by the Nile. It's at walking distance from restaurants, cafés by the Nile and public ferry also if you want to go the the West Bank.
