This place is far enough away from everything else, making it incredibly private—there's no one else around. You're truly in the desert. Also, taking an open-air shower with the moon is so cool 😄. The stuff is incredibly hospitable and they will be with you every single time whenever you need them. Mr Salim and his brother Yasir specifically are gentlemen who will always smile ☺️. The people who operate & execute this experience are actually bedouins. Truly wonderful people!!! Special mention to the amazing food that was served. Homely cooked meals met with amazing level of hospitality. I had the best Mishkak here at Moon Light Luxury Camp.

The camp was nicely located in the dunes, there were some other camps nearby, but not close enough to notice them without walking some distance. The facilities were amazing, tents were simple, yet well equipped and the little private bathrooms (including showers) were just perfect. Sunset camel ride was brilliant and definitely worth doing. Both the dinner and breakfast were well prepared with a large variety of food, we were very impressed by the quality and quantity of the dinner and breakfasts.

Great location, service, food, transport to camp. This is how you do the business! Owner and other employees were kind, helpful and told us about omani culture and history. Tents were really comfy, bedsheets clean and the second smaller tent with bathroom was as well really well equipped. Amazing place in the dunes near Bidiyah in Oman! The check-in is just so much fun right from the start: your 4x4 tires are deflated, and off you go through the dunes to the campsite. Rashid is a great host, very warm and welcoming, and very attentive to his guests. The room was unique and very comfortable, we had a restorative night there. The food for dinner and breakfast was delicious as well, in good quantity, served on this elevated platform with a view of the desert camp and the dunes. It was a lovely stay!

Arab desert camp ligt in Al Raka en biedt een zithoek. Er is een volledig uitgeruste eigen badkamer met bidet en gratis toiletartikelen. Everything was phenomenal, and the hosts were outstanding. Close to the campsite, there is a spot with a breathtaking view of both the sunset and sunrise. The food was absolutely delicious. After dinner, we gathered around the campfire, listening to stories about their people and way of life. At the end of the evening, we all danced together to their music. The people were incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommend
