An oasis in the middle of the desert. We didn't know what to expect except what we had read in the reviews. We really liked the food, the tranquillity, the atmosphere, the entertainment, and the cat.

Chegaga Berber Camps is gelegen in M'Hamid en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Alle units hebben een volledig uitgeruste keuken, zodat je je eigen maaltijden kunt bereiden. Amazing experience in the dunes of Erg Chigaga. The location just in the middle of the dunes is perfect and very relaxing. Mohammed was very friendly and nice. The transfer to the camp was interesting as we were going through a desert storm so it took over 2 hours. On the way back, it took 1.5 hours. Transfer was for 90€. I would definitely go to this camp again for more nights. 🙂

Nomads Heaven Camp is gelegen in M'Hamid, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en toegang tot een tuin met een terras. We enjoyed our stay at Nomads Heaven Camp very much. Moloud is a very experienced host and guide, very proficient in different languages. Very friendly! Food was good and typical moroccon dishes for breakfast and dinner. Everything was reasonably priced. It was very quiet, approximately 6 km from Mhamid. You live in tent-like clay buildings. It was rather warm inside during the night. So we did not need warmer clothes inside. You can walk 200-300 m and you enter an area with smaller dunes with super fine sand. We just sat there and enjoyed a sunset and sunrise there. So it is "desert experience light". Be aware that the real desert with the big 100m high dunes is 60 km/ 2h away. Moloud could have organized a tour by 4x4 and/or camel. But that would have taken us more time, also one person had health issues. So ideally you spend 2-3 days. And stay in the "real" desert overnight.

Mhamid Nomad Camp beschikt over een tuin, een terras, een restaurant, en biedt accommodatie in Mhamid met gratis WiFi en uitzicht op de bergen. Wonderful camping site, tents had shower and toilet, very clean, nice dinner and breakfast, amazing bonfire and local music. The staff was very well organised, we took a Jeep ride to the camp and traveled back on camels, both were truly amazing, allows you to enjoy unique nature, very beautiful, highly recommended.

Zowel WiFi als privéparkeren is bij de luxe tent gratis toegankelijk.... The camp is situated in a great location next to beautiful dunes. The staff was very nice and so kind to pick up and drop us off at M'hamid. We definitely recommend it..

Erg Chigaga Regency Camp in El Gouera biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de stad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras, een restaurant en skiën tot aan de deur. 10/10 doesn’t describe how amazing this stay was! A true desert immersion. We had a transfer from Mahamid. Our driver and also our guide spoke great English and provided an amazing experience, showing us the Nomad villages on the way. The food (we had lunch, dinner and breakfast) was one of the best we had during our 10 days in Morocco. The camp definitely exceeded our expectations, was right next to the big dunes, was super comfortable and clean, with our tent having a private bathroom with a shower and hot water. We took a camel ride to the big sand dunes and sand boarded down them. Cannot recommend enough! An absolute must when you’re in Morocco!
