We loved everything – the warm and welcoming staff, the peaceful atmosphere, the absence of Wi-Fi encouraging us to slow down, and, of course, the breathtaking views. When we arrived, it was rainy and cold, and after a gloomy day at Kawaguchiko, we didn’t expect much as we headed uphill to the glamping site. But walking into our lodge, we were immediately stunned by the view even without Mount Fuji in sight. Arriving soaked and chilly, we really appreciated the cozy, heated lodge and the well-equipped kitchen that let us easily prepare a warm meal. The next morning, Mount Fuji finally revealed itself, and the view became truly spectacular. Honestly, we could have spent the entire day just soaking it all in and still been amazed every time we looked around. While we did head down for a bike ride in the town, staying put would’ve been just as satisfying. This stay came at the midpoint of our trip, and it was exactly the reset we needed. Since the transportation is organized by the property and there’s no Wi-Fi, you naturally return earlier and slow your pace. After days of rushing to “see it all,” the change of rhythm was a gift.

But what really made our stay unforgettable was the staff: super friendly and helpful. They kindly stored our luggage after checkout and even gave us a ride to Kawaguchiko Station when we couldn’t get a taxi. An absolute gem — we can’t recommend it enough!

The units in the luxury tent are equipped with a coffee machine. There is a shared bathroom with shower in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. At the luxury tent, every unit has bed linen and towels. The campsite is picturesque, a million dollar view of mt Fuji and the forest around! We stayed at the dome and it was so comfortable, warm, had everything we needed. The shared bathrooms are very clean. The meals deserve separate attention - wagyu beef, sashimi, Japanese specialty dishes… so delicious and the portions were huge. A cute and pleasant surprise was a projector in the dome, we could relax with a movie after an active day outdoors! The staff were really going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! They also provided a shuttle to pick us up to and from the Kawaguchiko station, and one extra time when the traffic in town was problematic and the public buses weren’t working.
