Savets homestay is outside of the main city of Battembang. It is a very beautiful property and I felt like I was in the jungle. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. His friend drove me around for a half day tour and then we met up later with some other guests. It was a very memorable experience. If you have the chance take it. The homestay is surrounded by beautiful countryside, and the hosts were kind enough to lend me a bicycle to explore the nearby villages, temples, and rice fields. It was peaceful, scenic, and gave me a real glimpse into rural Cambodian life. If you’re looking for a genuine, heartwarming experience beyond the usual tourist spots, I can’t recommend this homestay enough. It’s perfect for travelers who want to slow down and connect with locals in a meaningful way.
