We travelled through Guatemala and this was kind of a break from our tight schedule and we couldn’t be happier. The accommodation is amazing (the scenery made me forget the fact we had to share a bathroom with the other guests), and the whole staff is kind and nice. Definitely a recommendation and, if I ever go back to Guatemala, I will definitely book a (longer) stay here!

The accommodation offers evening entertainment and room service. We loved this place. The staff, bungalow and common areas were amazing as well as the family dinners. We also appreciated that there weren't too many guests as it made the stay more intimate. We will be back soon!

All of their workers there are super nice, have a nice smile and they make everything happen that you feel super nice there. The standard of everything there is just higher than in any other hotel we have been so far in Guatemala. If it comes to the shower, bathroom, bed or any other facilities, it’s just great! Also the small details! And the best thing is really as already mentioned the staff there. This is one of the hotels where you will say in a few years, remember the „El Viajero“ in rio dulce, and you‘ll immediately remember which one it was.

Wonderful hotel right on the waterfront with a view of the castle. The building is very nice and well maintained. The staff is very helpful. Enrique is the best. The menu is simple but suitable for a few days. Rio Dulce is a 5-minute boat ride away. The sunset is amazing.

The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, full-day security and organising tours for guests. Freshly cooked pancake breakfast was included, the kitchen is well equipped and very clean. The owners are so kind and helpful, make you feel very welcome. The facilities are all well maintained and there is even a pool to take a dip in! Far enough from the main road that it is peaceful but only a 2-3 minute walk.

It feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle but you’re also right next to the river. They have family dinners every night which is a good time to meet new people and the staff are soooooo nice!

The accommodation features room service, free shuttle service and organising tours for guests. This was the best place I stayed in my three weeks in Guatemala! Should've come here first. I appreciated how clean my room and bathroom were! Great A/C and a ceiling fan. The bedroom window had a screen. The young ladies were always helpful and friendly! They call for a tuk-tuk if you need one. As a bonus, they said the 8am boat to Rio Dulce picks up right at the property dock, so no need to go into town.
