The hotel itself is at a height with views of the Prespa lake and the village from the very large balcony adjoining the room. The room itself is very large with a large bathroom with high quality amenities. There is a provision for tea and coffee in the room with a small restaurant for breakfast and coffee above a flight of stairs. We arrived to a warm welcome by the host and greeted with hot coffee. Cookies just out of the oven were served free. Breakfast was prepared by the hostess’ mom and it was very elaborate, freshly made and delicious. We were not aware of this and had requested an early breakfast at 6.30 am and felt a bit bad about waking her up so early. However she was all smiles and spoke to us about India in Greek through her interpreter (daughter). They invited our guide for breakfast though he was staying somewhere else. There is a restaurant in the village about 5-7 mins walk from the property that’s very lively and serves great food.

Our hosts at the hotel were wonderful people, thank you both of you, breakfasts amazing and the boat ride to see nesting pelicans and other birds was a treat. The restaurant opposite does great evening meals, let them know early. An extraordinary island - and place to stay.
