From the moment we arrived, Daisy, the heart and soul of this place and the rest of the staff welcomed us with a warmth that went far beyond hospitality. Their care and attention to detail made us feel not just accommodated, but genuinely looked after. At times, we’d find ourselves chatting with the other family members and staff, sharing stories, or picking fresh fruit right from the trees in the garden. Each of us had our own cabin, and they were just what we needed spacious , comfortable, and open to the lush surroundings. The sounds of the ocean and the songs of the birds drifted in naturally. We especially loved reading in the hammocks just outside the cabins on the balconies, swaying gently in the afternoon breeze. The location is also perfect, just a stone’s throw from the beach, and close enough to town that we could walk in for lunch or dinner, but far enough that it still felt like a world of its own. Like being in a town away from the town. Our stay at Cabañas Iracas del Mar was more than just a holiday it felt like a journey into the heart of Nuquí’s natural beauty and the deep, quiet generosity of its people. If you’re looking for a place that offers both solitude and connection, peaceful rest and enriching excursions, this is a destination that truly has it all.

Popochos Beach Eco Lodge biedt een tuin en gratis WiFi, en bevindt zich in Nuquí. Amazing place to relax. The staff is very kind and always willing to help. Perfect to run during the dawn. I would have liked to stay more time there!

El Retoño del Negro Gozón is gelegen in Nuquí met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde keuken, bar, tuin en terras. I loved my stay in retoño, a little paradise in front of the ocean, run by some of the kindest people I’ve met. I had an unforgettable 2 days in there and they can cook an amazing vegetarian meals, there are filtered water as well.

TORTUGA BAY Eco Hotel bevindt zich in El Valle, op 2,2 km van Playa El Almejal, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een privéstrand en een terras. Prachtige accommodatie met erg leuke hutjes die sfeervol zijn ingericht en met zicht op zee. Lekker ontbijt en eten. Lieve eigenaars die vanalles kunnen regelen. Leuke tuin met hangmatten.

Mi Cabaña El Maderal bevindt zich in Capurganá en heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. You were with family. Willie and his family were great to stay with! He had great insight on the area and things to do. Places to see. Breakfast was great in the mornings as we hung out on the balcony. Loved the hammock!! Wifi was great as long as the power was on. It’s in a rural quieter part of capurgana. You definitely get the authentic Colombian experience. We enjoyed are week stay:) I’m gonna miss it and look forward to a return visit:)

The staff is very attentive to your needs and super friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The Police Station is just across the street so it's extremely safe.

Posada Los Palitos bevindt zich in Bahía Solano, op 14 minuten lopen van Playa El Almejal, en biedt een terras, rookvrije kamers, en gratis WiFi. A needed a Hotel because my flight got cancelled. Posada los Palitos was really uncomplicated, it is right in the center, the room nice and clean. The staff is really nice and also made me extra breakfast because I had to leave early for my flight the next day.

Solana Mar y Selva Boutique biedt accommodatie in Bahía Solano. Alle kamers bij het hotel hebben een terras. Food was great, location just awesome. Mar y Selva !

Posada Nore, Nuquí bevindt zich in Arusí, en heeft een tuin, een privéstrand en een terras. Een aantal kamers bij de accommodatie hebben een balkon met zeezicht. Nore and Hernan were lovely hosts! Excellent value for money. Arusi's virgin beaches and remote idyllic seclusion were a dream.
