It was so easy to get from one place to another because the trams all stopped a few steps away from our hotel. We had a problem with booking.com tbh, because they cancelled our booking while I was mid flight. I opened my phone to find out that our booking had been cancelled. I had to call the hotel to ensure that our booking was still secure because really, we had no where else to stay. I was so appreciative that they held on to our booking because they too were surprised about the sudden cancellation. The staff assisted us the entire time and were so gracious and pleasant to coordinate with. From this, to the check in, to the check out..everything was perfect. I highly highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a pleasant stay in Basel.

A young man at the front desk was very helpful in directing us toward art in the city. The room also came with a flotation device for swimming in the river and tickets for discounted public transport.

Guests can take bus number 50 from the airport to the main train station and bus number 30 from the train station to the hotel. clean, great, centric accommodation with super friendly staff! we felt very welcome! I'd stay again in this hotel, for sure!

Kitchen was well stocked - a nice touch with honour bar - the Prosecco was perfect on the balcony when we arrived. Clean, comfortable, and close to all the fun stuff in Basel.
