Nabitunich ligt op 9,1 km van Cahal Pech en biedt een tuin en een terras. De accommodaties hebben een patio en gratis WiFi. We waren hier drie nachten en hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf. Je logeert op de boerderij met een fenomenaal uitzicht omgeven door allerlei dieren. Het ontbijt is heerlijk (gracias Marta), gratis drinkwater en de wandeling langs de rivier naar Xunantunich is genieten. Wij zagen onderweg de brulapen en enkele toekans. Dominic is een perfecte gastheer die je vanaf de eerste seconde thuis laat voelen. Op verzoek kookt hij voor de gasten een lokaal gerecht. Wij zouden deze plek zeker aanbevelen en komen zeker terug! Tip: bekijk de zonsondergang vanop het bankje bovenop de kleine heuvel.

Green Valley Inn ligt op 21 km van Cahal Pech en biedt een buitenzwembad en een tuin. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een terras en gratis WiFi. Central location to all amenities. The host is very kind and the food is amazing!

Las Haciendas beschikt over een buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en biedt accommodatie in San Ignacio met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Een hele mooie luxe villa boven op een heuvel met uitzicht op San Ignacio. Nog maar 2 jaar oud en alles is goed gebouwd. Alles is voorzien van airco. Wij hadden de 6-persoons villa met zwembad op het dak. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een supermarkt en restaurants zijn op loopafstand.

Framadani estate - Villa with a pool and Or thatch roof Cabin is gelegen in San Ignacio, op 3 km van Cahal Pech en 18 km van El Pilar. This property and caretaker David just were above and beyond what we could have hoped for! What a beautiful house with all the amenities just minutes from town. Howler monkeys and plenty of birds made every morning memorable. I have never seen such detail and thought go into the decor and feel of each room. We felt at home here and will be back.

CAJIMA Villa 2 heeft uitzicht op de stad, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin en een terras, op 16 km van El Pilar. Owner met us on arrival and was very helpful letting us know about the property facilities. The location was great, very easy to get to local restaurants and shops, and also very handy for the Mayan attractions nearby. The cost was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

GM Suites Bed & Breakfast ligt in Belmopan in de regio Cayo en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. George was warm, welcoming and very helpful. The neighborhood is calm, quiet and walkable. It is close to shops and food. The space was well equipped with coffee/tea in-room and toiletries.

The Alexandria Marquis Hotel and Resort is gelegen in San Ignacio, op 6,8 km van Cahal Pech, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. The hotel was great, and the staff was amazing. The rooms were clean and the pool was a plus too. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were very good. Everyone worked to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and they were able to provide answers to all our questions about everything we wanted to do around San Ignacio. The only thing to note is that the hotel is a little outside of the town so you might need a car to get into the town, it’s about a 5-10 minute drive so not bad at all. Most tours will also pick you up from the hotel if needed.

The West House Boutique Hotel ligt in San Ignacio, op 1,9 km van Cahal Pech, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis privéparkeren en een bar. Ik zou deze accommodatie 100% aanbevelen! Een schoon, modern, nieuw hotel. Vriendelijke receptie. Goede locatie. Geen ongedierte. Warme douche met een goede straal. Onbeperkt water. Iedere dag nieuwe koffie cups.

Yumas Riverfront Lodge ligt op 3,5 km van Cahal Pech en biedt een buitenzwembad en een tuin. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een terras en gratis WiFi. Waanzinnige accommodatie op een mooie & rustige locatie aan de rivier, fantastische eigenaresse Christelle (met het hart op de juiste plek!), erg fijn zwembad, heerlijk ontbijt, beste bedden van onze vakantie, super douche, behulpzaam in het boeken van taxi’s & activiteiten (ATM cave), 3 ontzettend lieve & speelse honden. Wij komen hier zeker terug!! Dikke aanrader :) Enige om rekening mee te houden: 40-45min lopen naar downtown San Ignacio, of ~7min met de taxi.

RiverHill Hideaway bevindt zich op 7,6 km van Cahal Pech en biedt een tuin en een privéstrand. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een terras en gratis WiFi. Loved everything about our stay here, it was pure perfection. If it’s available, do not pass up the opportunity to experience it. The lodge is beautiful and so well designed and presented, with lovely homely touches, clean spacious shower room, comfortable bed and bedroom with cracking aircon, great outdoor seating area, in all just cannot fault it. Communication with Hadas/Dusty was spot on, Hadas also arranged for us to do bird watching and cooking onsite with Flora, both of which were great experiences. On arrival we were met by Willy and Stinky who are both adorable and so friendly, they spent a lot of time with us when we were there! Willy was also a great swimming buddy in the river. Facilities in the lodge were second to none and also catered for our unstated needs! Fully stocked kitchen and a bonus of running bottled water. Having the river there to both cool down in and sunbathe by was a bonus and well used with the humidity at the time we stayed. The location was perfect for us, far enough from town to be remote and only a few mins drive into civilisation. Albert, the main man on site in the day, was lovely and friendly and we had some good conversation with him. The security here is also good, with an electric entrance gate and non intrusive cameras, but Willy and Stinky were the best security, making sure you knew about any movement even remotely near the property! They also slept outside our room on a night, ready and waiting for a breakfast treat in the morning! So cute. If you’re not a dog lover though, they won’t bother you, so please don’t be put off by them being there.
