Location was key for us as we had a team competing in W2W, the cottage was perfect! The outlook over the fields with the impala and springbok was magic. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub but it was beautiful!

We had a very warm welcome. Thugh there was load sharing so no power, they had alerted us beforehand and prepared an excellent welcome dinner, heated on the gas stove, with a very fine red from their vineyard. The chalet was well equipped with a patio looking out over the gardens and the vineyards todistant hills. We spent a happy morning birdwatching around the gardens and small river before heading on.

Surrounded by mountain vistas, rolling lawns and meandering streams, country-style Houw Hoek Hotel is located between the towns of Grabouw and Botrivier.

The host was exceptional, very hands on....we were treated with alott of goodies.The place is very neat and clean...and safety was the host priority. The place is very spacious and the balcony is very cozy and relaxing.The kitchen has everything one should need and more. Definitely recommend Elim self catering.

Clean and comfortable room, very spacious. Gorgeous surroundings with the mountains, orchards and impeccably maintained gardens. Host was super friendly and helpful, an absolute pleasure to deal with. The continental breakfast was icing on the cake as we enjoyed it a lot. Could not ask for more, a wonderful place to stay.
