Breakfast was great. It had a lot of options, including fresh fruit. The staff member in charge of the breakfast room obviously took pride in her work. She was a gracious host and a bright start to our day on the road.

Very good place for those on a budget. It is not a 5-star hotel and needs some refurbishing. However, the room was clean and the sheets and towels were in near-new condition.

We enjoyed our stay at the Budget Host Inn. Our room had three beds, which was really nice, and it was quite spacious -- plenty of room for ourselves, as well as three bikes! This is an older motel on the edge of town, but the owners have kept the place clean. The beds were comfortable and our room was quiet. Everything worked well, and it was a great value. Emporia is a pleasant little city and we look forward to our return!

Cheapest hotel that I’ve stayed at in a long time, not at all fancy. But it was a large room with all the normal amenities, seemed well kept up.

One of the cleanest budget hotels I have stayed in. Pet friendly only a $10 fee. Pretty standard basic hotel, but the room I had was quite large with both a table and a desk, and it is clear that unlike many budget hotels, at this one the walls and carpet are regularly cleaned because it did not feel grimy as so many of them do. Would definitely recommend, especially given the price.

It was obvious there was a pride in ownership. The grounds, office and room was clean. I loved the fact there was a refrigerator with a freezer in my room. Many hotels do not have that. The price was an incredible value for my budget.
