Convenient place to stay if you want to travel to Taroko gorge. From Xincheng you can take a 10min bus to the entrance of the park and beat the crowds to do Shakadang at 7am. The room is basically a cabin inside a hotel so it feels like you’re in a hotel. Everything is clean, fancy, and modern. You can enjoy all the facilities of a hotel (except the pool). There are only 4 beds in the dorm which is great and I was completely alone on my first night there.

The whole process from check in to check out was fuss free! The minsu is new and clean. Enjoyed my stay - bed was super comfortable and I love the shampoo and conditioner so much! Staff was very friendly and helpful as well. We left our rented portable charger cable and she helped us mail it back to Taipei. Value for money and would definitely recommend!

Owners are super friendly and welcoming tourists and doggies. There are big grass yard and a swimming pool for dogs, and also SUP! They served different breakfasts for seven days, that's thoughtful. We appreciate it! When we finished the tour they gave us Hualien souvenirs! Thanks for the Comfy house and everything, We have a wonderful memory here. Looking forward to going there again!

This place is fantastic, the beds are super comfortable and the room was spotless. Location is right by the train station. Room is spacious as well with lots of natural light. Would definitely recommend. The staff were also very responsive through Line and check-in was easy.

Host was extremely thoughtful, kind and helpful. During our stay, we inquired about a fruit we were unfamiliar with and the next thing I know she sent me a message that she had cut up the fruit and left it for us to try. And on our last day, the taxi was running late so she offered to drive us to the station. The Cozy Stay was exceptionally clean which I loved and there were all sorts of yummy snacks and drinks to try in the kitchen.

Mollie the receptionist made me feel very welcome right away. She recommended a restaurant to me that turned out to be the best Chicago style pizza I've had in Asia. Also, the shower had nice hot water.
