We had the best stay here in Sri Lanka so far! It was my boyfriends birthday and I only asked for a fruit basket to surprise him, but the staff had decorated our room with balloons and they sang happy birthday to him. We were both very pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely friendly and helped us with arranging a safari. Which we can also recommend because we saw lots of elephants from very close. Also the hotel it self is very nice. The pool and the room were lovely. We had a very nice sleep in the comfy bed. So we definitely recommend staying here!

Such a good find. Perfect central location, clean comfortable cool rooms, easy check in/out. Best of all, I felt safe comfortable and the owner really went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed. Including laundry!

It was a very clean and beautiful accommodation. The garden has a mango tree and we even saw some monkeys. A few steps away is a local vegetable and fruit market, we enjoyed. Breakfast and dinner was amazing! It was cooked by the hosts. They even helped us to buy something we lost on our journey and what is very hard to get in this area of Sri Lanka. Additionally we got great sight seeing insides. This guest house was.perfect for us.

The host was extremely nice and helpful. House is close to the lake where you can have a ride with bicycle to Polonnaruwa ruins. So it is an extra attraction!

The accomodation is perfect for visiting the archeological sights in Polonnaruwa, as it is very close to the museum and the park. It is beautifully situated close to rice fields and the rooms are very nice, clean and bright. The famliy ist very helpful and friendly - thanks again a lot! The breakfast was superb, including a lot of Sir Lankan food and fresh fruits and the family did even buy some special exotic fruits that i asked for. So if you spend some days in Polonnaruwa i can definitely recommend to stay at Man Guest.

I really enjoyed my stay, the room and bathroom facilities were very very clean and we had a great balcony where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner. Homemade food was delicious, and we really felt welcome. We really appreciated the bike rent that is very convetient to go visit the sacred city from the home stay. We loved the charm and character of the place, as well as its fantastic location on the lake. Great at sunrise and sunset. The pool was bracing, but fun with the kids after a morning cycling around temples or an afternoon safari.

Windy holiday home was incredible. The space itself was clean, spacious, cute, and comfortable. This was exactly as described and the location was perfect. Instructions for entering the property were clear.
