Sahan was super nice host, very helpful and pacient. The room was comfortable and very clean.The location was perfect to explore the old town and the temples. You can rent bikes which is very convenient.

Our host was very nice and helpful. He arranged the rental of bicycles to visit the temple, he gave us information to take the bus and good advice to find local restaurants. The location is very convenient, close to shops, restaurants and now far from the temples. The room was very clean and quiet. We thank you for the very nice stay :)

Kamara and his super team really made our stay here one to remember. A very comfortable setting in the jungle and a terrific pool to cool off in at the end of the day. The rooms were big and well appointed. Enjoyed meeting the Sri Lankan families also staying here on holiday. Our kids loved feeding time with the baby squirrel!!

This place deserves more than 5 stars. The location is THE BEST you could ever imagine. Right at the edge of a national park with view onto a lake you see lots of macaques and langurs, birds, mongooses and with a bit of luck elephants roaming around, sometimes they come very close and are just 2 few meters away. No worries there is security fence as you know it from national park areas inbetween. The cabins, very exclusively as there are only 2 available, are perfectly equipped, spotless clean, airtight - so no bugs will bother you as long as you exercise common sense to keep doors closed and come with very good working air-conditioning. You have a nice cozy seating area/porch attached to watch the animals while you are enjoying meals or ice-cold drinks. Bringing your binoculars to view animals further away is recommended. Sanka is THE BEST host you could ever imagine, very warm welcoming and always smiling, and very attentive. He is always available, happy to serve you his delicious food and ice-cold drinks to your room, everything for very reasonable prices. He helps to arrange safaris for you, provides amazing advise on sightseeing, loves to exchange experiences with his guests. He is such a lovely person, himself still very excited about the wildlife, it was hard to leave this place. Ensure to reserve ahead as this place has only 2 cabins and is of course very popular. Thank you, Sanka for the best time we had on Sri Lanka

I really enjoyed my stay, the room and bathroom facilities were very very clean and we had a great balcony where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner. Homemade food was delicious, and we really felt welcome. We really appreciated the bike rent that is very convetient to go visit the sacred city from the home stay. We are a family from the UK who visited Sri Lanka for a holiday. While searching for a good apartment or villa near the temples and relics in the Polonnaruwa area, we came across this little gem. Pearl White was one of only two properties available for our chosen dates. At first, we were a bit hesitant to book, as it was a recently listed property with just two reviews, both from local visitors. However, I decided to reach out to the property, and I was able to connect directly with the owner, Sisira. He was kind enough to explain the facilities in detail and share valuable insights about the place. Our conversation gave us a very good understanding and helped build our confidence in choosing Pearl White over the other options. It turned out to be a fantastic decision! We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay and we booked the entire villa. The location is excellent, very close to the town centre and major heritage sites. The villa itself is spacious, cozy, and exceptionally clean from the beds and linen to the toilets. Everything was well-maintained. We found every little convenience available, from matchboxes and a lit barbecue to massage bathtubs. I highly recommend this property without any hesitation, and we would definitely love to return. Special thanks to Sisira for taking such good care of us and always being reachable via WhatsApp whenever we needed anything.

I spent two nights at the Pearl White Residency hotel with my entire family. The hotel room is exceptionally modern and well-maintained, with immaculate cleanliness. Mr. Sisira was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. From the welcome drink to checkout, everything was customized to meet our requests and the weather conditions. The food was delicious and catered to our preferences. He is very friendly and accommodating, providing recommendations for places to visit around Polonnaruwa and sharing his knowledge, which made our stay even more memorable.
