The cottage had everything we wanted and needed, so did the grounds and service provided. The property had washing machines with detergent and vending machines with snacks, heatable meals and drinks. Our room was clean and well-equipped with a little kitchen, nice toilet and a tv. The porch had a nice relaxing area with a bench and even a hammock you can hang up yourself. The owner is very conscientious and considerate, he’s thought of everything! There’s even a massager in the room if you are hiking as well as a foldable drying rack (with a place to hang it). He also helped us to book a car last minute and is always very responsive even when not around on the property. Highly recommend. :)

This is the most delightful, homely place I have stayed in a long time. The atmosphere is lovely, it’s close to the airport as well as the bus stop, and Satomi san is a wonderful host who really makes everyone feel welcome.

I had an amazing stay at this spacious house on the south coast of Yakushima! If you’re planning to visit, I definitely recommend coming by car since there’s a free parking spot available, which makes things super convenient. - Beautiful and cozy house: The house is stunning inside and out, with a warm, welcoming vibe. The garden is also really well maintained and adds to the charm. - Spotlessly clean: Everything was incredibly clean when I arrived, which made the stay very comfortable. - Fast WiFi: The internet is surprisingly fast, which was a great bonus. - Affordable food options: The house offers food you can buy for just 100–200¥, including ramen, curry, rice, and snacks - Great location: A supermarket is only 2 minutes away on foot, and there are two hot springs (onsens) and a beach within walking distance. - Spacious and well-equipped: The house can accommodate up to 7 people and has two bathrooms, which is really convenient. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook. - Friendly owner: The owner is incredibly kind and speaks enough English to communicate easily. They’ve also prepared some English translations and information to help you out.

An amazing place to stay for a vacation in Yakushima. The location is spectacular with a sea view, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The owners of the hotel are charming and help with everything we need, they helped us perfectly in preparing the visit to the island. Yurino and Chika helped us in any way possible with advice, reservations and a minor medical issue. It was truly a pleasure to stay here. Location is great too just outside Anbo but close enough to some restaurants and most of the trailheads. Quiet nights and comfortable Japanese-style bedding.
