the hostess is such a sweet lady: she picked me up at the station, we did some shopping for dinner that evening, and after dinner she gave us a very special (and secret) tour. It was amazing. the next morning she made us the best breakfast I had in Japan, took me on another tour through the city, before dropping me of at the station. And of course I don’t want to forget to say that she gave me 2 beautiful souveniers! She is the best!! like we’ve known eachother for years, from the first moment I saw here. Such a novelty having a sauna in our room and being able to go from bath tub to sauna freely. The room was really modern with a good sized fridge and freezer. Plenty of towels were provided and they were soft and fluffy. A bonus was the 5pm happy (read free) hour drinks in the little bar area. There was also a roof top with olive trees and lounges that allowed us to see both the sunset and the moonrise over Mt Kinka. The location was excellent. Just a short walk from the entrance to Yana Gasse and across the road from Kashimori park and the entrance to Mt Kinka Observation deck. You could also hire bikes from there. We loved it all.

Lovely guesthouse with everything you need, the hosts are great. It is a great place if you are travelling by car, though there are some restaurants at walking distance.

Hosts are really nice people. They will tell you everything you need about Gifu and nearby cities. The Guesthouse's is in calm area 15 by train and 30 min by walk. They're are convenients stores and few restaurants nearby. The hosts can get you and bring you back to train station when you arrive and leave.

It’s a sex hotel and they do not tell on booking.com. was shady and the room smelled awful. I booked for my 19y old daughter and she got very uncomfortable. Left right away.
