We were looking for a location close to the airport to sleep for the night for our morning flight, so in that sense it was the perfect location. Very clean facility and everything looks new and carefully selected. Check in and out is easy and simple. When we encountered a problem with our room, the owner was there in 3 minutes to help us, so a plus point for that also. (Just don't leave the key in the room when you go to the kitchen like we did 😄)

The location is great for it's proximity to the airport, and also it's close to the ocean. Keflavik itself doesn't have too much going on, but we were only there for a 24 hour layover, so that worked fine for us. For someone looking to experience more of Iceland, I think having a vehicle is a must from this location. Otherwise, the apartment is cute and cozy, with really comfortable beds.

The staff who help us to order the early morning taxi was so kind :) They even answered my questions and replied so quickly in the early morning (In that time, our taxi driver was late but she’s also a kind person:))

Despite of a midnight check-in (at the Hotel opposite the street), all went very quickly and we had a fresh and very clean bathroom/shower. Excellent breakfast! We only stayed this one (half) night.

I really liked our stay at this guesthouse! The host is amazing, we talked about Iceland and situation in the world, so I was pleased to meet such a great woman. Our room was good and clean, so we had a good sleep. The location is near the airport, so it's really convenient. Also the host offered us to have breakfast! And then helped us to get to the car rental. And her lovely dog is asome too!
