I hardly ever write a review, but our 3-day stay at Bundeli Kothi warrants a positive exception. Me and my wife truly loved it. Whilst the building is very modern and may therefore appear somewhat 'non-Indian', it is situated in a very attractive agricultural area, with a small hamlet just around the corner (see the pictures of the doors, as an example), and very kind people, all of which will enrich your India experience. We enjoyed dinner at the Bundeli Kothi and each time it was delicious. The modern kitchen is spotlessly clean and if you like, you can watch how Indian dishes are prepared (or even participate). Orchha is a mere 15 minute drive away

This was the cleanest room - and especially toilet - I have come across in my many trips to India. It's a 10 minutes' walk to town but very quiet at night. And the family running the place couldn't have been nicer.

Very welcoming family running this hostel. They provided with an excellent gmaps guide to visit the monuments around town. Breakfast was great. They can also arrange transport options. Location is just a few minutes walking from everything. Quiet area. I'd highly recommend to stay here in Orchha.

I don't have enough words to thank Aniket and his wonderful family. We spent two nights in their property, and they sorted out the rest of the trip for us. Helpful, caring, polite, pleasant...a truly wonderful stay. The hotel itself is the best bang for your back. Unpretentious but clean and steps away from the main attractions in Orchha. Oh, and don't forget to order poha for breakfast:) Thanks again, we'll come back :)

We had a wonderful stay at amazing in Orchha. The location is perfect at the small hill, offering stunning views The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the staff isfriendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a peaceful stayin Orchha. Aniket also offers great ltinerary and knows Orchha by heart. He have small details about many more unknown hidden monuments of Orchha. One of the best hotels ever!! I won't be forgetting this stay anytime soon. I've had the time of my life at Sunset and eventhough I haven't left Orchha yet, I can't wait to come back. The location is super convenient with lots of great options for food and activities nearby. The terrace is absolutely gorgeous, super picturesque- especially at sunrise! And the rooms are clean, spacious and so comfortable. With incredible natural light! I can't remember ever having slept so peacefully on a hotel bed.  If you're looking to make friends, look no further. My time at Sunset has been so special to me. The staff in particular has been the highlight. They've been so helpful and attentive, and will go out of their way to make sure your every need is met. They' re truly special and I'm glad 1 get to call them my friends now. Thank you for everything Hotel Sunset, I'l be back soon!

An excellent value for money stay in Orchha. We had a room on the top floor which was lovely. Very comfy bed. Breakfast and meal options were very good. Owner also arranged our taxi to Khajuraho - which was exceptionally priced , we had the best local taxi driver. Great location too. From Booking till the Check-out they were exceptionally great. The first message after our Booking to book for pick-up was quite good enough for us because it's too hard to negotiate with Indian Tuk-tuk drivers. Amazing Room with Amazing view. Great Cleanliness. Perfect Location. Good Online Guide. Exceptionally Priced breakfast.
