Cheap hotels in Mandāwa

Staying at Morbagh Eco Haveli felt like entering a different world — one filled with peace, heritage, and beauty. The rooms were immaculately maintained, comfortable, and full of traditional character. We especially loved the authentic food served in the open courtyard; every meal felt like a celebration of Rajasthani flavors. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Clean, calm, and incredibly welcoming — this is what true hospitality feels like.

We enjoyed our stay with the family. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Rads who speak well English is feeling responsible for his guest's. The homestay is new and super clean. The rooms are large and very nicely decorated. We also enjoyed our breakfast and dinner at the terrace.

We spent a amazing time in Mandawa's Hotel Shekhawati. . We had the best room for a very very fair price... The Hotel is an incredible authentic Haveli with so much wonderfully restored painting in the typical style of the traditional Mughal illustrations. But what really made our stay memorable, was the feeling of being welcomed in a warm and lovely family that was caring so friendly about our welfare. I recommand. Sincerely Shekhawati Hotel, and I really think this is truly an experience no one can mis visiting Mandawa,... 3 minits walking distance from all the major Havelis. The place is charming. We loved everything about the place - the courtyard with bougainvillea, the cozy dining room, the vegetable patches. the food , the hospitality and the advice given to us. The design of the rooms is lovely. It uses local handicrafts - I especially liked the embroidery , and our daughter liked the window niche where all her toys could sleep. You can feel it is done with love and attention to detail. The shower had really hot water. Everything, of course, is impeccably clean. The food is great. The milk products come from their own cow and many veggies come from their garden. Given the fact that the food is vegetarian, the variety is amazing. It tastes great - real Indian homemade food! You even feel a little bit like part of the family. Gajendra arranged a great guide for us to show the havelis. - the reason for our coming. We took a camel card to drive through the surrounding fields. Do not miss a cooking class! I was hesitating at the beginning as I took so many cooking classes already. Luckily, our daughter insisted. It might be the best cooking class I ever took. Gajendra and Gayatri showed us everything - the techniques, the old and new kitchen appliances, the local plants and, of course, many spices. For example ghee was shown from the milk (from their cow) stage through curd stage to butter stage. Some recipes were that local that it is difficult to translate the names of the ingredients. It was a highlight of our trip. And it was amazingly tasty. It was unforgettable. All in all we had amazing time. Would happily stay a bit longer.

Very spacious and clean apartment on the top fifth floor (no lift) overlooking the city with balconies on both sides. The owners are extremely hospitable, generous and helpful, even having us around to dinner. Jhunjhunūn is overlooked by tourists but has a lot to offer with old havelis and an abandoned palace overlooking the former fort in the old city area plus the amazing Shree Rani Sati temple. It’s quite an adventure!
