Mr Luis was the perfect host. The grounds were beautiful. The place was clean and comfortable. The pool so refreshing and peaceful - perfect for cooling off each night. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Kitchen access was very convenient for preparing meals, along with a nice dining and living room area for relaxing, or socializing with other guests. Luis was always available to address any issues or answer any questions. We were able to keep our bags safely locked at the House while venturing over to Principe for 5 days, then return for another 3 days’ stay at Casa Luis. Luis made our trip to São Tomé seamless, pleasant and memorable.

Welfare AgroTurismo is gelegen in Milagrosa en biedt een terras en een bar. Deze vakantieboerdezerij heeft een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. This was the best place we stayed in Sao Tome. It is about 30 to 40 min drive from the airport. The garden in the front of the property is fabulous and well designed with many interesting plants and fruit trees. There is also a cocoa plantation through which you can take a leisurely walk. The owner, Maria, was an excellent host. She was very welcoming and friendly and she made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The food was very good and we had 3 evening meals there all of which were delicious and well presented. The Mousse au Chocolat made with cocoa from their own plantation was so good that we had it for dessert each time. The breakfast is very good too and we were given plenty of fresh fruits and fruit juice. We stayed there twice and both rooms we were given were very clean and the beds very comfortable. If you are after peace and quiet this is a fantastic place as you are surrounded by nature. There is also the option to take longer walks in the area.

I booked last minute and I was not expecting anything fancy but the room was really great! A/C worked, shower with warm water and a fridge to keep bottle of water inside. The staff goes beyond everything if you can manage to communicate with them! The location for me was perfect, central and near a supermarket. The breakfast at the bar downstairs is also great! You can walk around, it is safe ! I would definitely stay there again.
