Daniel is lovely and allowed for me to bring my bags early. He showed me a space to do laundry, the kitchen and lounge. The rooms and space is very traditional of a home stay. Simple but comfortable. If I come back to Iquitos, I will be staying here again.

The house had a lovely courtyard with a pool to cool off in. You can also use the kitchen which has a good range of modern appliances. The artwork around the house was varied and interesting. It is also only a five minute walk from the airport which was handy for our flight to Lima. Although it would seem inconvenient for the city, we felt that it was better to pay a few Soles for the mototaxi to get into town and also have the entertainment of the ride through the traffic. It was worth the 20 minute ride to get to this haven of tranquility.

I had some very bad events before coming in and their kindness felt like a gift. I needed to feel safe in a clean space and that is what I got. They have beautiful energy, real human angels 🫶🏻 I would return again and highly recommend.

The owner also allowed me to make my own breakfast in the morning (by heating up some milk so I could have oats) because I was unable to eat the provided breakfast. Super accomodating. Id return here if I'm in the area again.

Chip was an excellent host and very helpful when it came to tips for what to do, where to go and what to expect for my jungle adventure.
