You can see the beach from the apartment (villa 10) and everything was so clean and inviting. It was a pleasure to stay here, the bus stops is 1 minute walk away and it takes 5 minutes to get to the ferry (via bus) and only 25 mins if you’re walking. Close to all the amenities and restaurants, well worth staying here and a fantastic base for doing wine tours!

This 4-star holiday home offers private entrance. We had such an amazing stay, definitely recommend! Excellent communication from Steve, easy instructions provided to find the rental car as well as the accomodation. Beautiful, clean unit we stayed in. Had everything we needed (small fridge, basic kitchen equipment, towels). Amazing views. The outdoor tub and sauna were beautiful and great to use! They also provided great recommendations for places to eat and things to see/visit. We really enjoyed our stay.

Among the many wonderful accomodations on Waiheke Island, we chose Wild Thyme because they gave detailed information about the location and facilities, which made it easy for us to imagine what our stay would be like. AND Wild Thyme was PERFECT in every way! The rooms were well-equipped and comfortable, and were spotlessly clean. The view from the terrace was breathtaking, while the place is located in a convenient area, shops and the beach of Onorea within walking distance. Most of all, Jules and Bruce were great hosts, being attentive and kind. It is all thanks to their welcome, my parents and I truly enjoyed an unforgettable vacation. Another BIG attraction is Jule's Wine Tour! The information is also written on the notebook provided in your room. I highly recommend it to anyone considering staying here. She asked us about our wine preferences in advance and came up with the Perfect plan. We visited Allpress Olive Groves, Tantalus, Man O'War+lunch, Waiheke Gin Distillery and Passage Rock. It may have been partly because it was winter and the wineries were quiet, but Jules arranged with the winery staff to grant our selfish request to try wines(bubbles!) that were not on the regular tasting menu! She even arranged for us to taste limited edition gin at the distillery. She took us to hard-to-reach places in the east and south of the island, such as ManO'War and Passage Rock, where we enjoyed not only the drinks but also the charms of the island as a whole. It's only been a week since I returned home, but I already feel a strong desire to go back.

The location is only 15 minute walk from ferry terminal and 14 minute walk from the first vinyards.

Great location, super comfortable beds and had everything we needed.

Very cute and facilities in kitchen plus BBQ area great for evening, if we were not eating out. Great shower and comfortable beds.

Great spa and facilities to use including a sauna and mini golf! Onsite bar and restaurant as well that is apart of the resort. The place had everything you need for a stay and we loved the BBQ on the deck. Right near the bus stop too. We struck gold and by chance met the owner, John who was A FABULOUS HOST! He gave us the tiki tour and showed us all the best spots on the island making our stay extremely memorable ☺️ thanks John 🩷
