The island is beautiful, the food on the hotel’s restaurant was so delicious! The whole staff was very kind. I think was differentiates this hotel is the excursions it offers. It was a unique experience going out with Simbe and trying to find turtles, mantas and sharks which we did end up finding! Thank you Simbe and Elvira for an excellent experience! We will come back in the future

The villa is also very peaceful and private, which was perfect for us to rest and enjoy our time. The staff were fantastic, always kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Thanks to them, our stay was smooth and truly relaxing. Overall, it was an amazing experience and we are leaving with the best memories. Thank you for everything.

Staying on this local island was an incredible experience that we will cherish forever. Unlike the more touristy islands, Kihadhoo had a more authentic and serene vibe, and the locals were genuinely kind and welcoming. Our host was exceptional in every way. Not only was he the director of the local school, but he also managed the accommodation as a side project with utmost care and dedication. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. For meals, our host arranged dining at a newly opened local café. While the café still has room for improvement in terms of price-to-quality ratio, I’m confident it will grow into a fantastic spot over time. What truly sets this island apart is its breathtaking coral reef and vibrant marine life. Our host also organized unforgettable snorkeling and diving trips with a dive center on a neighboring island. These excursions were simply magical (especially in Hanifaru bay)! However, having a dive center directly on the island (which is planned soon) will make exploring the underwater world even more convenient. This island offers an authentic, peaceful getaway with stunning natural beauty and warm hospitality. We would love to return someday and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique Maldivian experience.

So you should know that it is for you if you’re searching for some authentic trip without alcohol. That was ok for me and my wife. We wanted to have a rest on the beach, see some fishes, have tasty food and just to stay with comfort. What we have received? - Everything we was waiting for + - True smiles from every single person who work here. It is so wonderful that all staff carries about you, your problems, your needs. They really wanted us to have the best experience we ever had. Even it’s hard to write every single thing why I’m thankful to them because here is not allowed to write so many symbols. Samesh, thank you so much for all of this. Hope you’ll grow to a big hotel director and will give your kindness to as many people as you can! The Moonshell Residence has a very nice Rooftop Bar and an amazing staff which is exceptionally courteous and nice. We had a lovely and comfortable room and the property is close to the Bikini Beach, which was amazing. We also had our own sunbeds and sunumbrella.

The family owners have put so much care into every detail, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Service was outstanding—every request was handled with kindness and efficiency. The owners even gave us a free tour around the island, sharing insights about local life. They were always friendly, supportive, and happy to chat. Overall, an excellent experience with exceptional hospitality. We would gladly return!
