It was probably our best stay in Sri Lanka. Also the villa and rooms were really beautiful, comfortable, with perfect air condition and strong wifi. Absolutely recommend and hope we will return in future!

Pradeep and the other young men took us on tours and wanted to feel at home and showed us the beautiful surroundings of the hotel! We went on an all inclusive plan and loved it!

Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport is 27 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. The guesthouse is close by the lake and by foot 10 min to the main road to have some food. The safari as really nice as well, but there is no extra guide if you prefer so. The driver was the guide. We booked the tour through the guesthouse. The room was perfect for a quick stay and the family was really nice and helped with everything. We also just got a juice after our safari from the host.

Our stay was exceptional. The property is very well maintained and in a lovely garden setting. We were the only guests as it was the off season but the service was still top notch. One of our group was ill for the stay and the staff were very kind and caring, and provided cold compresses, a tonic and dinner to the room for her. The dinner they provided for the group was ample and incredibly tasty. During that we enjoyed hearing about the property, the area and their experiences. This stay felt like a real home away from home thank you!

My hosts couldn’t have made me feel any more welcome. They are kind and generous. As a single female traveller I felt very secure in their compound. I strongly advice you book your safari with your host. He’s a confident driver with a keen eye for leopards. Don’t think saving money will serve you well, take a private tour. The guest house is situated close to the park and near to the road the dissects the park. Take an evening safari on the road if you can. The accommodation is very clean. I found it hard to leave these lovely people.

The owner of the guesthouse is very warm-hearted and trustworthy. On the first day of our stay, he took us on a free bird-watching tour, and we also saw bats and crocodiles. He was very professional! He helped with everything, making us feel completely at ease. Since we only had half a day for the safari and returned early, he took us for an owl and bird-watching trip at noon. The safari driver arranged by our private driver wasn't very good, and we saw nothing on two trips. In the end, because we really wanted to see a leopard, we returned from Mirissa and joined the safari the next day. The driver the owner arranged was highly professional and shared a lot of expert knowledge with us. The owner even joined us, which really made us feel safe and reassured. Highly recommended!
